I just complicated my life

So I splurged today on a tiny little keyboard to interface with Cubase and Fl8. I am by no means versed in MIDI, but after playing with some of the plugins for keyboards, I thought it might be easier for me to lay out ideas for songs with a keyboard than with a guitar because with the plugins and Cubase, I can loop until I get a pattern or phrase down and then go back and learn the part using my guitar.

I probably wasted a hundred a bucks, but I couldn't help it :)

WELL said sir!

I ran Cubase for a while(LE) and couldn;t take it anymore..
Just didn;t like the complicated nature of it all.
The license scheme..
The system issues...

I hope you have much better luck than I did!
(I'm using Cakewalk Music Creator now)

Well I got home late last night from work, installed the software, plugged in the kb and got a "new hardware found" message meaning the driver wasn't installed properly.

Instant headache. I hate computers, lol.

Anyways, instead of dealing with it, I popped in Castaway and relaxed. I'll deal with it this weekend. grrr.
