Sorry to put you on the spot , but I have done a horrible thing here, getting people too involved in politics, and religion.
You have such a great sense of humor and such a great voice...PLEASE do your recording , It would really help lighten things up. EVEN Chippy Is getting pissed off. EVEN Crip is getting pissed off. EVEN everybody is is getting pissed off.
Maybe just a small step to bring back some cool beanz. :)
Will try and call tomorrow afternoon if no rain drops keep falling on my head.

Sorry, Gong, but you know me. I'm the type o' guy that'll wait until tomorrow to procrastinate. :)
Actually, been pretty busy lately (and that's a good thing) recording a gospel album for this 70 year old lady, doing and audio book for this other lady, had a young female lawyer come over and start a project (she's a songwriter, but doesn't play an instrument so she sings the song and I have to pick it out, then find a drum track that will work for keeping time, put the rhythm guitar down, then teach her to sing in time with it as she sings OK but doesn't really understand the timing issues and meter), helped my brother take out my mom's old claw foot tub and put in a shower stall, giving guitar lessons (I have 6 students now), and, of course, whipping my yard back into shape now that the Wizard is back in operation (Vroom Vroom). I've been coming up with cool ideas for new songs, but I just haven't gotten the bug for doing my own recordings (comedy or otherwise) just yet. Hope I do soon. My AADD (Adult ADD) must be kicking in. I'll go into the studio to do a specific thing, but see that before I do that, I must do this and if I'm going to do this, I might as well do this other thing too, and while I'm at it, I ought to take care of these other matters, and the next thing you know, I'm wondering where the Hell the day went. You need to come down here and treat me like a Harley Davidson (kickstart my a$$). :)

6 students ,last month you only had 1,geeze. Next month you'll be writing your own "BREEZE EASY METHOD" and starting an empire.
Don't you people down in the OZARKS have anything better to do than play guitar and run your tractors,VROOM VROOM? :)

Remember the Roy Clark Big Note Guitar Book that came with the little round colored stickers that you put on the neck to show you where you were? Well, I found and easier way to use it. I put the little stickers on the end of my fingertips, then I'm ALWAYS in the right place. :)

THAT'S real good RAT. I've been writing the numbers on my fingers and watching in the mirror. See its like I said, you came up with a much better method. :)

Whachootalkinbout, Sans?

Thanks, guys. This is one of the few leads that I actually thought about and worked out beforehand. Usually, I go for the spontaneous take, but I had an idea of exactly what I wanted to do, so I worked on it a while before laying it down.

Wish I could take credit for the drumming, Chipster, but it was done by a friend of mine, a REAL drummer. I used a drum machine with a simple pattern to write the song and to get the rhythm down. Panned all the drums hard right in the machine and a click to hard left, and ran them into two channels. That way, a drummer could listen through headphones to either the drum pattern or the click. Had my drummer friend from down the road from me come over and he put the real drums to it. A week later, another drummer friend happened to come over and he heard it and wanted to lay down a drum track to it. He had trouble hearing the click so we recorded it as a new song with him on drums and me on guitar, with no click. Of the two recordings, I liked his better, and so I finished it up with the harmony guitars, more rhythm, and the bass. Later went back and did the lead. I have an idea for the lyrics and wrote one verse and a chorus, but need to finish it up.
