I personally don't see the point in this thread.
Religion doesn't get you to Heaven...A personal relationship with Jesus Christ does. A person could go to church every Sunday of their life, and still go to Hell. And likewise, a person who has never stepped foot in a church can still accept Jesus and go to Heaven.
You could call me a Christian, but I prefer to simply be known as a guy who's accepted the truth and invited Jesus into my life.

Yeah, I agree with Ryan. I am more "spiritual" than religious. I feel the spirit, but don't agree with a lot of religion as it has been shaped to serve man's needs for too long. It's a good idea, but I don't think any religion still has the essence of what it was in the beginning.
When I think of God, I think of him partly as a being, probably because that is what I was taught all of my life. But I also see Him as an energy force with both positive and negative energies that anyone can tap into. Actually, it's just energy, period, but people can tap into it for good or evil purposes. Not sure what to think about an afterlife. I hope there is one and I will live as if there is one.

If you believe that jesus is the truth then you should check christian, cause no other religion agrees with that. If you think its mohammed, check muslim. There is no in between. Your spiritual feelings toward christ put you in a classification. You are among 2.1 billion others worldwide, about 26% of the world's population agree with you. Just keep in mind, your truth is not accepted by 74% of the world.
You say you don't want to be classified, but by choosing a "personal relationship with christ" you choose christianity. Please vote accordingly

That doesn't mean my beliefs aren't true, that just means that 74% of the world is wrong.

statistically speaking that is an impossibility. that would mean that 74% of the world suffers from some sort of mass histeria! Believe what you want, its your life, just remember that not everyone believes the same things and for the most part, you are in a minority. Here in the US, that may not be the case, you have a billion of the 2.1 living right here in the US it seems, but I recall jesus saying "knock and I will open the door" not "knock and then kick the door down and force my will down their throats" which may be a smaller % of christians than those who dont go evangelical, but they are certainly more seen.
I dunno about the mass hysterectomies, but I can pretty much guarantee that any two ppl within the same religion will have a different take on it...which only means that I am always right, & if anyone needs help understanding it all, just ask me. I'll never steer ya wrong...unless, of course, you're headed in a different direction...
Hmm, how come when a religious conversation comes up, all the Christians run away and don't back me up...I know there are Christians here. Where are ya, Paul?
