Anybody have those new "we play everything" radio stations? I like it. They mix it up almost all the way. No classical or new jazz, but other than that they play everything.

On a side note that station, the "everything that rocks" station, and the heavy rotation rock station that wears out the 3 biggest song By Skynard, Floyd, etc etc are all playing "blinded by the light" all the time. It's weird. I'm actually tired of it. It's like heavy rotation.

I have not researched the radio waves in our area in quite some time.
The last time I did the prospects were just dismal.
Being a wolf among sheep can be a drag since they wont let me eat a few of em.

Hmmm, sounds like my kind of station. You said that they don't play any new jazz...so are you saying that they do play jazz?

Well old pop jazz like Ella and Nat for instance. It's really refreshing. They will throw Boy George at you followed by Taylor swift and then outta nowhere comes a deep cut from ELO!

I wish we had that sorta thing around here! Sounds even more eclectic than one of my solo sets! Or Paul's, even!

Paul Ive got XM. I prefer the format they have. If I want country I can go right to it, if its rock I can go right to it. Ive never liked the stations that play everything, cause for me they are never in sync with what I want to hear.

For me, I like to hear everything as long as it isn't Yanni ( yawny ). However, I do like XM for the same reason that jw123 speaks.

Ever heard a song in your head, turn on the radio and it's playing.
Thats like a 5 on my weird stuff-o-meter.
