I've decided to take one new song every week, chart it out, learn it & introduce it to the band. If they don't wanna do it, I'll do it solo...& I might end up doing it solo as well, anyway!


This week's song is "3rd Rate Romance," by the Amazing Rhythm Aces, just cuz it's such a cute lil thing to do.

It's time I got back into the whole solo gigging thing again, cuz there's $ to be made, & I ain't making poop right now. Plus, it just might get those writing juices flowing again. I'm a pretty good songwriter, when I'm writing. I'm also tired of being askeered every time I get a gig, & I'm just gonna hafta get this frikken hand working the way I want it to work again.

I've always admired and some what am jealous of those who have the capability to gig solo. I just don't have the vocals for anything more than backup, and sparingly at that.

I've done some duo work, which is half as good money wise But gave that up when the CT got bad.. acoustic guitar = pain

Funny, that, Kramer - I'd love to able to play fast & true like you, & you'd like to be able to solo gig like me...is the grass greener on the other side or what?

Actually, I think I just want it ALL, dammit, & RIGHT NOW!

Yes, I envy that kind of talent as well.
The guys let me do a deep sinister laugh on one track, but otherwise it's "stay away from the mic George !!"
