Hmmm, I think I did it all by myself

I believe that I was able to download COffee Break. It is an arrangement for flute choir, chamber strings/harp and rainstick. The composer is Billy Mclaughlin who is pictured in my profile page but I cannot get the picture to come up on the forums page. Well, let's see if it worked.

Yeah, success but it's the wrong one. The strings are overpowering and it lacks the sound of a flute choir and my solo is missing. I will be right back

Oh yes, Sans...it gets much better than this but it is too big to upload.
I apologize for not being able to shrink it. Now I am stuck. But at least I was able to post this one. There is a nice flute solo in this, towards the end. Plus you hear a lot more flutes. I am playing all of the flute parts
I am playing it right now...but at least you got an idea.

Listening to it again...tha balance is really bad and there are parts missing. Sigh, I will try and figure something out. A woman's work is never done, I guess

I enjoyed it muchly. I will have my son the violin player and my wife the flute lady listen too. Perhaps it will motivate them both a little more.
It is a shame we have to shrink our files sooo much to get them on here.
But such is life.

Thanks again for the music!

I am glad you like it although it does get better.

Here is Coffee Break in its original form.

This isn't Billy Mclaughlin playing however. He can no longer play Coffee Break because of focal dystonia. So I am very glad that I chose this one for my arrangement.

Hot damn, Mary! I've been waiting for this for hunnerts of years!

Listening now, & ya know what? It was worth the wait!

Great piece of music.

Love the way the flutes add so much to it. The strings are nice, but the addition of your instruments makes this that much better for me. Your arrangement is also very good, m'lady. That was beautiful. THANK YOU!

Now, of course, I wanna hear everything else you do, & I wanna hear it RIGHT NOW, DAMMIT!

heh heh heh

You've created some monsters here...

I'm playing this for my grandson as he wakes from his afternoon nap. He's mesmerized & grinning BIGGLY. It's nice to see that he likes the quiet stuff, too. He can be a real metal-head, sometimes...

Yesss, I am familiar with Andreas. He used to remind me of Richard Simmons playing harp. I haven't heard any of his music for a while and this was indeed a treat. I do play a lot of Celtic music and this just gives me another idea.

I have always enjoyed your presence here Mary.
Due in part to your quick witt and level head, as well as your tolernce of male chauvinism. (if not enjoyment of same)
Your music has moved you up a little higher on my "keep and eye on" list.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is really the only forum that I go to with so much testosterone content. I am glad that I assimilated into the "band". Yeah, I enjoy the male chauvinism and I think that it is because I have such high esteem, y'all can't get to me. And y'all do crack me up. Well worth the price of membership even though I have not gotten into a band yet. Being in my fifties tend to keep me cool, despite an occasional hot flash. Keep it up .

I must add that this recording was possible because I have a really good recording engineer. He has a musical background and thanks to his ability to mix, I was able to put together a nice recording. I have to add, this is not the final mix. The final mix rivals this one. If you like this one, I can't wait till you hear the final.
