There's this commercial they've been showing about 12/21/12 being the end of the world. There's supposedly some organization that's gonna insure the continuation of the human species. It all looks quite real on the tube.

I looked up their site & I think it's gonna be a movie, but it's still presented as if it were true - with elections for the post-event leaders, etc.

i think this refers to the myan calendar. supposedly it's been right about many things so far.

Actually that is just the last date on the Mayan calendar. It says nothing about that being the end of the world.

mayans civilization supposedly lasted around 4k years... so don't laugh too hard.

they say there will be a transformation of man... not necc the 'end' but an apocalypse none the less.

According to what I've read on the guy, Nostradamus was only "right" 17% of the time. That, of course, depends entirely upon your own translation of his quatrains, & the way he tried to hide the info so that it could only be seen after the fact.

Regular folks are often correct more often than that, by mere accident.
