Ok so this is the first letter i sent this lady wanta be promoter...After she had wrote this so called letter saying that she was going to make all these artist stars...What Her And Her Boy Friend Were Doing Was Telling These Kids That They Would Make Them Stars...Cuz They Had A Recording Studio...Then They Would Build Them Up ....Charge Them A Ton Of Cash To Record Them...Knowing All Along That 98% Of These Poor Kids Did Not Have A Future In The Biz...That Is Just Sick...So I Wrote Letter This To Her...

And The Only Hold They Still Have Is The Top 40 Radio Stations....Or ( CLEAR CHANEL STATIONS )..It's A Pay To Play System....And Im Hear To Tell Ya First Hand If You Don't Play Their Game.....Well No Play For You....Its Sad But True....What Im Saying Is What Your Doing Is Great... And Helping Talented People Is Cool...But They Must Be Really Talented....Or They Will Not Sell Any Of Their CD's...Well Maybe Their Friends And Family Might Buy Them ..lol.. Software that spams discussion forums. You spam hundreds of them, providing links to your MySpace and by sheer volume, a good number of people will investigate his site. When they do this, it blosters his song plays, and inflates them so that he is high on MySpace charts and Reverbnation charts.

He hopes to parlay the high (although inflated) song plays, into some attention and hopefully a record deal.

Honestly man, at first I didn't read these things. It's so hard to sift through since he doesn't know how to separate sentences.

But when you do sift through them and you start learning how to comprehend the Boomhauer-like ramblings. It's actually quite demented. He just rambles on about fake stories of conversations with BIZ people. Binny and Judy, whatever name pops into his head at the time.

And what's even more demented is how he pretends to teach them about the "BIZ" they're in. Could you imagine being a promoter or record company employee and receiving one of these e-mails? Hahaha. It would end up in the break-room on a cork-board for everyone to laugh at.

Keep in mind, this started out as a letter to Judy, and somehow within all of that rambling mess, it's somehow tangled up with being a conversation with a "big label" exec. and how they're gonna take some young 20-year-old singer and use her and throw her out of the "BIZ". Then it's about helping young singers who are just eye candy.

It's actually one of the oddest ramblings I've read. I can't help but read it. It's so strange it's off the scale. It's crazy how he keeps pushing the "keep it real" thing, and yet his stories are clearly fake.

It is like a redneck version of a sales pitch known as "confuse reframe" or "disrupt then reframe" which is a highly successful tactic, which works by CONFUSING the potential buyer, either through using impossible to understand technical jargon, showing a too large product assortment or giving confusing information, and then a little into the pitch, making easier to understand information available or restating the information in a more familiar way.

This increases "cognitive closure" in the buyer, and increases his desire to make sense of what he is reading.

The mind gets confused at first, which attracts and holds the buyer's attention, and then when this is relieved, by providing the info again in a more normal or familiar way, it makes the buyer more receptive to the product offered.

I may be giving him/her too much credit though?
