Another successful disc golf gig

We're becoming a tradition at disc golf events. It went smooth as usual, a couple of glitches, but overall no complaints. Our new young harmonica player was sick and couldn't make it. I was hoping he'd show up and take some good pics. I'll ask the tournament director if he's got any good pics and load them up here. As usual I had to haul the major PA stuff myself. I'm getting too old to haul everything out of my basement, but it's a labor of love. I hope this young guy works out, maybe he can help me load everything. Our drummer has a bad shoulder and can't lift anything. I'm not sure our new guitarist is able to do any heavy lifting either. Maybe I should invest in some newer, lighter equipment. Anyway, we played real well and overall I was pleased with the results. Dan Jones was able to make it at the last minute and played some killer harmonica as usual. He's always a crowd favorite. Looks like we'll be adding a few jazzy tunes and we're even working on a reggae version of a few blues tunes. Never played reggae before but we tried it in rehearsal the other night and it sounded great. An interesting next few months are on the way. Maybe a few gigs as well, we'll see...

Bob, if I can figure out how to build inflatable PA speakers, I'll make a fortune! :)

Glad to hear your gig went well Bob. I am fortunate to have two young and very strong sons. Tony our back up singer is an old Kung fu brother who respects me as a father figure (big mistake LOL) and is always available to help.
Keep up the good work Bob.

Sometimes I wish I played piccolo. Being the lead singer and bass player is a LOAD for sure.
