Do you have any of YOUR music on a website for us to listen to? What am I investing money into? How do I know you have any talent? For all I know you could be a bum on a street corner with a cardboard sign saying "Homeless, Please Help". Put something up for us to listen to. You might get some more donations...By the way I NEED MONEY to do a serious recording too. I don't expect anybody to send me anything. I'm going to EARN whatever I can get....

Yeah, check out my Bandmix profile page (click on fisherman bob). There's six songs there, three covers and three originals. We're also getting ready, long overdue, to go back into the studio SOON. Our first gig is this Saturday and right after that we get down a bunch of originals and hit the studio. Don't have anything up on a Myspace page but that's coming also (just not too soon though).

yeah...money is always the tough part.... I've offered to do websites and artwork/logos for local studios (all of them have horrible websites to begin with) but everyone wants cash, cash is always tough to come by when you are doing music full time.
Worse comes to worse...you can always record with your computer with a direct line in ... use a free program called mp3mymp3 to record from a direct input (
www.mp3myp3.com ) to do a direct record to mp3 and just post some stuff.
I'm always posting crappy live recordings....it's all we can do!!
I just posted one now!! LOL It's a chance of Fate!!!

Let's hear some of YOUR music. If it's good I'll BUY it from you. Get a loan from somebody if you can and get your recording done. Then you won't ahve to worry about donations. Good luck and get to work!

yeah, definitely want to get your website done too, If you don't have enough information, pictures and other stuff to put on the site...don't make a whole site with links to nothing, Just make a one-pager. That's actually better, that way you can build your site in the background as you expand.
One of the bar bands I'm in is always wanting to make this huge site like my other band's website ... but I just put what little they have given to me on a one pager with dates, contact and a sound clip, nothing great but it works.
