He overreacted & embarassed himself. Then he ran away so he didn't hafta see it every day.

Chippy, not many people on this site have embarrased themself's as much as me. These are great folks on here very forgiving. I am not sure what happened but come on back to the site when you feel ready. I have really enjoyed your post's and besides who else can I talk about shrooms with. Just kiddng bout the shrooms.

Yeah, and there aint to many people on this site who likes to discuss Mods and The Kinks like Chippy either . ('cept maybe Jimmy D)

I don't think he embarrassed himself so much as he's been pretty busy with the new place, painting and fixing up and all. And with him being such a nice guy, I think he lost interest what with all the arguing and bickering on political and religious views. Some could say, "Well, all he had to do was stay off of those posts.", but, for a while, it was bleeding over onto other topics as well. I recall several times when he would put a polite comment about keeping certain posts about music, but was ignored. I know I've been guilty of hijacking threads (quite by accident of course). Hopefully, when he gets all his ducks in a row, he'll be back.

Well, we all recognize that Chippy is cool beans! And a nice dude. I am personally grateful for his suggestion of using music for making a difference, and it inspired me.

As to the arguments...

Old time Bandmixers know, this has been NOTHING! LOL - Around election time, we got into some doozies! But we all forgive each other for overstepping bounds when it occurs, and that makes this joint extra special!

I think the off-topic stuff is not so bad. We all become friends here, and like any discussions, they sometimes go in other directions. If there were voluminous posts, it would be a more serious issue, cause it would get confusing where to find each topic. But that is not the case here. It's not to difficult to catch up on threads. And everyone skips my "novels" if they are not in the mood for reading "War and Peace" that day. LMAO!

Chippy will be back. I didn't catch him getting fired up somehow. Hope it wasn't my fault. I've never had anything derogatory to say to him, that I can recall. If I'm mistaken, my apologies.

Ive got to say that for me this place is special because Im able to interact with a lot of people I dont really know that have the world in common with me . Were all here looking and hoping to find something and wonder if its really possible to find whatever that is. But since I started coming round here I find myself thinking and working harder to set and acheive a few goals . Someone said music soothes the average beast, but Im willing to bet as musicians were way above the average. As a musician Im rarely embarrassed. But as a person Im rarely not. I feed off of every post I read and feel like theres that chance Im going to find what I need here or somewhere cause there are so many just like chippy here.

Just talked to Chippy on the phone and he's doing fine. Still waiting for a band that wants him on keyboards, but hasn't sent him a CD as promised, to work on.

Yea, I'll vouch for the RATSASS. We had a good conversation on the tele the other day. Great guy. Hope to get up his way sometime to meet him in person. Plan to make a trip to KC with my wife in the fall. My work schedule being psychotic like me, it,s all still up in the air.
If I do get to make the trip, I hope to shake Bobs hand as well.
