Weird Night

Last night I was checking my myspace and a guy that I used to write songs with in the 80s found me. I called him up and we talked for a couple of hours.

I think it was 82-83 I wrote the lyrics to a song called The Brave Soul, basically it was about sending soldiers off to foreign countrys to fight. A few weeks ago I had decided to start recording some of my material from the years and this song was one of them that still means something to me. Ive been thinking of rerecording it cause I never had a really good version of it. Chris told me he still had the original tape. We did it on 4 track back in the day. Kinda weird that I had decided to revisit this song and he happens to get in touch all the sudden. If I can get a version of the song together I will put it on my player. It was a rocker and the lyrics come to my mind everytime we send our military somewhere.

George this is funny as hell.

A few years ago I was involved with a t-shirt company, long story, but we designed this thing and called it a Winky Dink! To funny you should post that up, maybe I should find those drawings again. If I remember it looked a lot like the Mascot for the Olympics in Atlanta, I cant remember its name at the moment.

This post is really showing my age!
