Just bought myself a brand new Gibson Les Paul Standard, Tobacco Sunbirst for my 50th yesterday... I know I can't afford it.. had to trade in a few axes but I really wanted this one for years and it's gonna sound awesome onstage! Don't have pics of it yet so I'll steal them from online

Congrats on your aquisition of a sweet new guitar. Oh and happy birthday on your 50th. We are the same age for a couple of months. I hope your 50th year is better than mine so far. Phisically things start to change, in other words its all downhill from here bro LOL.

I am curious, how many axes went into the purchase of this and how much did you owe after the trade-ins. Oh, and Happy Birfday to yah!!! Did you get your AARP card yet?

Well I sold 2 of my guitars so wasn't stupid enough to trade it in for pennies  With tax and all, the guitar was almost 3 grand.... So I got about $1,500.00 for my 2 guitars and I owe 1500.00
