Remember Phil "Tomorrow always comes" and never as quick as we like. The negative point being were another day older and wiser. Im willing to bet youll be playing one heck of a set when they lay you to rest in 40 to 50 years. I hope I can be there to hear it !!
And its another day in Paradise!!!!

It's rained every day since Sunday...normally, I'd be grateful for the rain, but I wanna play dammit.
'Salright, really...we'll prolly get a bigger & better audience next Thursday. I just really feel that "wanna" lately. Last time I played on stage seems like it was Dec or Jan...that's a long time! So forgive my temporary irrational grumpiness & feelin' sorry for myself.
I'm all better now.
Honest!

Phil, just think of all those cabin fever cases that are going to get out to hear you play when the weather lets up.
As Cippy might say, Keep a stiff upper lip! (or have a stiff drink lol)

Checked the weather. No rain today, but rain tomorrow & clear through to Wed. Dunno about Thur, yet. Jeesh! With my luck, ppl will all be outside tonight enjoying the relative dryness while I'm inside playing to the crickets...LOL...well, as long as I get paid, right?
I'm never gpnna get around to my lawn. Between watching the child & the rain, it's starting to look like a weed factory on steroids & fertility pills in my front yard. Berry bushes popping up. Jewel weed 3 feet high & blooming. AAAAaargh! It's gonna take a bulldozer to handle this by the time I get the time!
I'm thinking I might hafta string the Dean with lights, something I haven't done in, well, ever, but I wonder if my hand will hold up to the meds I have been using. That's depressing...
This was s'posed to be a 2 hour gig, but they put 8-11 on the sign. I'm thinking of calling in some backup...LOL

Gawd! What a WHINER I've become! I should just stick to shutting up for awhile & see how it goes!
Sorry...

You should see just how much I can complain before you mutter about yourself.
Things will get better.

You all could move to Southern California where it never rains.

I just got home yesterday from visiitng family in Ohio. It rained every damn day.

I guess I shouldn't complain. That is how God maintains this wonderful planet we call earth.

Going to be nice here today. They say we may get a break here and there from the constant storms we've been having nearer the coast. It would be nice to know what to wear!

We got rain here for a week too, building a deck on someone's camp and got rained out 3 days, along with a couple of days leaving early due to heat, we ran more than a week over the time we wanted to finish. Cost us $ but we finally finished Friday.
On the way home Friday got caught in a storm, watched lightning hit a radio tower, probably knocked cell phones out for a while, and what a light show! About 150 yards in front of me so I saw it really well, and it wasn't just one quick flash, looked like about 20 of them and lasted over a full second instead of the usual instant flash. I could hear it buzzing the whole time.

Those flashes can be really cool. When I worked offshore out of Morgan City, you could count to one thousand three on some of the discharges into the Gulf.
