I just saw that movie by DA Pennbaker, Dont look back. It is a documentary on bob dylan's 65 or 66 tour in london. Well anyways it got me thinkin. I haven't see any muscian lately that still party while writing music and mesh so well with everyone. I hope that i'm not only one still trying observe the people around me and make music that can relate to anyone who lets it.
Music is hope, if you can touch people enough with your music to make a positive change in thier lives then you have made a differince in the world. Am I alone???

You're not alone.
You have a streak of altruism in you.
There should be more people willing to share good will . . .
.
Music is crystalized emotion.
The artist choses which of his emotions he wants to share with others.
.
The emotion CAN be hope . . .
- unfortunately, there are many out there who use their music to spread despair, anger, disdain, & other negative feelings.
I believe music should make you feel good.
.
So - keep up with your music & w/ hope, man - we ALL need to feel that way.
Check out my profile.
Listen to Frolicking Fingers, and have a smile - it's on me. :)

Thanks. Everone has there own message to send and ways to do so, but what most people have a hard time realizing is that life will never be perfect. I try to think of all of my problems as something being added to the total experiance of life. Thats my seceret for making it through the day. Even pain, sorrow, and hatred can be channeled into something that is good. Thats what folk music is to me, experiances made into stories made into ideas and then music. :P

Without ugliness, the concept of beauty would not exist.
Without valleys - there can be no mountains.

It has more to do w/ record labels...you gotta make the hits and any real music is what they dont want.
