I enjoyed the conversation too, FB. Like Chippy said, it's nice to put a voice to the profile. Posting on here is fine, but it can't come close to a real phone conversation, which in turn, can't touch a real face to face talk. I'm a bit envious of the ones on here who have actually gotten to meet some of their Bandmix friends, but some day...
I'd really like to be able to travel more and meet (and jam with) quite a few on here that I think have similar styles to mine. Glen (GONGHEAD) has invited me to come to New York sometime and I invited him to come down here to Arkansas. If I'd only joined up earlier, while my son was still living up in New Jersey, I could have made a better effort to get up and visit him, and maybe I would have gotten to meet some of the folks from there (Chippy) and New York (Glen, Crip) and maybe over to PA, WV and come back through TN. Now my son has moved to Arizona. Who's out there? MadmX? Fisherman Bob is the closest to my area, but a trip down to Texas to visit Sans and maybe give him some pointers on recording a good homemade demo would put me in close proximity to jamming with Mr. Haley and that would be fun, even if he stuck me on bass.
Anyway, I'm pretty tied down with my dog and cats and playing in the church, so I guess the phone is my best option for now.
I wouldn't suggest putting your phone #'s on here like FB or Glen, but you could e-mail it like Chippy did.
