I have been giving that frisbee comment some serious thought.
Our position of sinners, saved by grace alone would prevent us from wearing halos.... LOL.... (wouldnt anyway, be kinda cheesey).
The idea has a lot of merit.
From an advertising standpoint a few of these "sail through life with Jesus" (or something like that) discs thrown out during a show + a few for sale along with shirts and CD's
Yer either a smart ass or a genious, perhaps yer a smart assed genious!!

I wasn't trying to be a smart ass, in spite of how it may look. I honestly thought it might be a good idea. It'd certainly be a unique thing to do, if nothing else, & that alone would keep you in ppl's minds.
If you consider it to be in poor taste, eh...sorry...but I was trying to help.

No no Phil, (once again the typed word bites me in the ass) My S.A. comment was truly tounge in cheek.
I like the idea, really I do. I have even done a little research this morning on whom may do custom discs, as promotional / sales items.
I like the idea a lot better than the little rubber armbands I have researched as well.
Hehehe I can just see me n the boys sailing them out over the crowd during a song.
Now if I can figure out a way to get them through the chicken wire.

No worries. I'm used to being a SA...LOL
It would keep reinforcing your message in the hands (& perhaps the minds) of the kids, too, wouldn't it?
Plus, it keeps things kinda light & fun, attributes not often found in the religious arena.
Heck, you could have certain scriptures printed on the bottom, with your logo on the top. There's lots you could do with it, if you think about it.
Good luck.

Yea thats the ticket my friend!
Now, back to my business at hand...... recording.
Frustrating..... been working with the Zoom, and yes I can record my amp through the Zoom with the monitor feed going into the PA.
But with just one line in, it's recorded in mono, not stereo.
Hummm...... back to the drawing board, when I finish my lunch.

I'd still have some made up to look like halos with headbands or sumpin for the lil babies in your audience. How cute would that be?!? Lil haloed baby seraphim in the audience! HAH!
I'm not even a christian & I'd get one for Jace!
Good luck finding the solution for your recording woes, sans.

Sans. Is this about image, presentation of faith or a conglomerate of the whole lot and is it for a show, a specific show or just plain in general?

I was just suggesting some merch that he might think about, Chippy, & I added in some rather strange comments on it while I was at it..."it's a dessert topping!"

It's about memory clues Chippy. It's about the youth that attend our shows telling their friends about our band so that our music can reach more ears. You can go to our website and look at the pictures and tell it's not about image. We are just regular guys playing our music so that we may in some way, be of service to our Lord.
As for now, when we do our shows, anyone whom shows some continued interest in our music gets a business card with our website.
Soon we will be including some CD's and other "mementos".
When one has fun at a show, you tend to share that with your friends.

Frig frisbees,
I think that all kick balls, baseballs, or any other round balls should have a world globe printed on them so more people could know their place in the world and to improve upon geographical knowledge in general.
Pretty cool idea, dont ya think?

If you want to get any kind of frisbee or golf disc imprinted call Disc Golf World at 816-471-DISC(3472) or email
rick@discgolfworld.com. Ask for Rick Rothstein and tell him fisherman bob Hayett sent you. If you end up getting any golf discs you definitely DO NOT WANT TO GET DRIVERS OR MIDRANGE, ONLY PUTTERS. You don't want to put a crease in somebody's forehead tossing a high speed driver out into the crowd. Actually the best choice would be minis, they are miniature disc golf putters and you can get them imprinted. They are much smaller and cheaper obviously, and surprisingly fly pretty good for their small size. Any questions send me a message. DON'T CALL THIS WEEK AS WE ARE TOO BUSY WITH THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT. Wait until next week.

I had an idea one time of buying a bunch of cheap little plastic flashlights and printing some band stickers with band name and contact info on them, cutting out different colored gels for each, and then giving them out to people in the crowd and have a planned moment when the stage lights would go out and the crowd would use them to be the bands light show. Never got around to doing it, but thought it was a good idea.

This might sound really dumb but I once wrote parts of a story for each gig we played. I had them all printed up by yours truly and each table got a copy. A lot of folk thought I was nuts but sure as heck after a few weeks we started getting asked when the next instalment was coming?
At that time I had not gotten into Web design but I'm sure it only added to the mystery of coming to see us.
Anything could work, I've not seen any dumb ideas on this thread either. Good luck with it.
Chippy.
