I've held off on posting anything about what we've been doing, cuz I didn't want to jinx it! But it's moving along quite well! Sorry Rat, I know you don't like happy endings!

We've got 5 guys that are very talented musicians, and can also double on other instruments. This we are going to experiment with later.

As it stands; two guitars/vocals, bass/amazing lead vocals, keyboards, and me on drums/lead, back vocals. The band is called Legacy, and it is your father's rock and roll.

The set list is coming along quite well. We're able to knock down at least 2 new songs at each rehearsal. The theory here is practice the new stuff on your own time, then we put it together at rehearsal. So far so good.

There's going to be a web site very shortly, that will include pics, bios, music, and maybe even some video later on. All things in time.

That's it gang...film at 11:00!

That is the way it is supposed to be. Learn the songs on your own time then come to rehearsal and go thru the starts and stops (put it together). If I am playing in a band that doesn't do that, I will not be around long. Or if I am the leader they won't be around.

YES!!!!

Well, congrats to you brother, first, but...

YES!!!!

Someone UNDERSTANDS!!!!

I preached this to my old band OVER and OVER, and yet, THEY ALMOST NEVER practiced at home. This was hard to deal with. It is the VERY REASON I couldn't bring more of the kind of songs in, like you heard on my 10 song debut. I wrote and recorded ALL those songs in less than 2 months. Who the hell knows what I would have written in 2 YEARS, if these guys would have stopped using GROUP rehearsal as INDIVIDUAL rehearsal.

But they'll learn the hard way.

Hell, they already have.
