Just stole a great rythym track off Ratssasss my face page. I asked him to come and jam, but he coulnd'nt . So I put up an interpretation of his song with him in mind.
Southern player meets northern player.
Jeff if you hate it just say so , it is impossible to copy the sound you got going on. Not mixed, not mastered, jusrt a quick cross country jam.
on my profile as Ratsssjam.

Cool beans, bro. The two guitars sound reminds me of what Wishbone Ash used to do. Two guitars going off in different directions and then back together again, and then off and back and off and back. Told you it was a fun little song to jam to. Glad you did it and put it up. :)
Saw I missed your call. I was up in the studio recording a little ol' lady singing some gospel for a CD she wants to give out for Christmas. She brings another woman to play piano accompaniment and wants me to add whatever I want to, bass, guitar, anything. They've got 8 songs down, 4 to go, maybe one day next week. Then I'll add my parts and she'll do some harmony vocals, I'll mix it down and be done. Don't worry. It won't be some Eddie Van Halen leads to gospel songs, but I will put in some tasty licks here and there.
I'll put one of the songs up on here when I get it done.

Yea, cool.

Wishbone Ratsash :D

By the way Jeff, The boys were surprised and pleased you cared enough to mess around with our music when Ray told us whats up.

I think sometimes the boys aint too sure about my presence on Bandmix.
You know I can be a loose cannon sometimes.
From me to you.
Thanks.

No problem, George. I like messing around with stuff like that with friends' music. I always seem to learn something new. I've got 'em all downloaded and on my studio computer so I can use Soundforge to tweak 'em. Got a festival to run sound for this weekend so it'll be next week before I can get to 'em.

Hey, ZXYZ, that was a song I had posted on www.myspace.com/jeffcoleysband for guitarists to jam around on. It's just the rhythm track, drums, bass, guitars, with no solo or vocals. I had put it up there a long time ago with a message to my friends to jam on it and have some fun. Nobody ever responded until I was talking to Glen about it and so this is what he did on it. He did both guitar leads and I think he did a fine job and hopefully had fun doing it. It's still up on myspace if you want to give it a go. My son listened to it and said I'd been listening to too much country lately. :) I don't feel it as country, more like straight out boogie.

Z just a great fun rythm track rat has up on his site. I just added a little guit nonsense trying to keep in mind how good Jeff plays.
Go to his myspace page @ /jeff coleys band and you can hear how good his track is,as a matter of fact I think he might enjoy other interpretations if you have the time to add in your take.
Some day I hope to jam with Jeff ,then I might find out what he really had in mind.
If any one gets a chance to talk with Jeff , He is really a straight shooter and all around genuine person.

If you ever get a chance to see WA definitely go. I've seen them many times; I met them in 2003 and actually gave them a CD. I think Andy is the only original member but the new guys they have are great.
