Imagines the ratings

Special guests smirk

At their pompous debatings

You must have known

This would be quite a circus

They feed us more lies

And then circle jerk us

Now you’re worth more in death

Than your pitiful life

You took lots of drugs

And a whore for a wife

I feel somewhat sorry

And I think that it’s true

All your money and fame

Sure couldn’t save you

Interesting approach. No hook. No chorus. I wanna hear it in a musical context. Good lyric, if it works within the music, but the lack of a repetitive refrain or catch phrase worries me a little.

Don't let it worry you too much Phil lol. Several of our tunes have no chorus/hook; they balance the ones that have obvious choruses/bridges/structure. Keep in mind we're punk/hard rock.

It's very difficult to know if lyrics will work without a song to go with it. If I had read the following lyrics I would have said there's no way they would work in a song:

Repeat first three verses

Now if somebody would have told me this is from a smash hit I would have said there's no way. Your lyrics are obviously much better and more interesting than these (James Brown lyrics) and if the music is good to go with it you've got something great...

Thanks Bob, although I don't think the lyrics are better than "I Feel Good". Maybe "Hot Pants".
