Looks like we found a guitar player who knows how to jam. We've been doing a huge variety of tunes. From Stevie Ray Vaughan to Louis Jordan to Muddy Waters to Eddie Cochran to fisherman bob to jimi Hendrix...etc. Our first jam session is next Tuesday. Playing all those different people keeps me on my toes, makes me sweat. I like the variety and creativity. I'm finally ready for a fisherman bob sighting...

Is it that same guy who immediately started telling you how to run the band? Just wondering.

No I'm not into playing in a Nazi concentration camp. No I'm not into scrapping ANY songs in our repertoire. NO I'm not into playing music like I'm a damn mynah bird. No I'm not into kissing anybody's retentive asshole...

Cool Bob, dude make sure you post dates when you get to playing out.
Looks like my wife is going to drag my butt kicking and screaming into KC in the fall.

How long are you going to visit? Hopefully we have a staedy gig by then. It all depends on if these new band members stick together or not. Our serious jamming starts next Tuesday and hopefully leads to a few jobs. There's not a whole lot of them to be had right now. We've got to get a band website (band vista maybe?) and perhaps a Myspace page although I would view the latter as a necessary evil. I'm not too fond of myspace. Let me know dates and opportunities to meet y'all.

Well, George, this would bring you right through my neck of the woods. A little out of the way, but I'm worth it.

I heard they have the best BBQ in KC, but Sans and J-Haley might disagree. Congrats on sticking to your guns.

Will probably be a four day weekend kinda thing. (maybe 5)
Jeanette has to build up some PTO time with her employer first.
A swing through Arkansas in the fall would be sweet as well.
She just mentioned it as we sipped our coffee this morning.
When I can firm up some dates, I will get back to both of you guys.
Cool!
