When I first came aboard to bandmix, I stated I was doing a grant proposal for a class I was taking at Messiah College. A lot of people didn't believe me , and I don't blame them. However I did get a $500.00 grant.
And through all the sh*t talking I learned alot. The best thing I learned was how to post actual music, instead of the electronic humbug. On one "ratass badass" I even sing. Have a listen.

All of the give-and-take on Bandmix and your evolution in music is actually a form of music therapy. I've noticed that your posts are actually starting to make more sense than when you first started posting. You're actually singing. You're making increasing attempts at making real music instead of the pre-programmed variety. Music therapy has been proven with scientific statistical validity to enhance brain function in people who have had brain injuries. Some stroke victims show astonishing improvement in motor function with the aid of music therapy. Whether you realize it or not what we are witnessing is the improvement of a human being right before our eyes. I went to Colorado State University and took a two week course in music therapy. CSU has the most advanced research facility on music therapy and I saw first hand how exciting this emerging field of science is. You should be proud of your advancement and music is at the forefront in your continued improvement. Keep the posts coming...

Thanks God for both of you, that can read between the lines and notes:) Yes music is good therapy for the head injury. The type I suffered affected my short term but my long term came to front. I recalled my classical grade piano training in the 6th grade. For me music is therapy, but it is almost more than that. I'm almost scared to use the word. But I will. It is religion.

Also Fisherman I am taking more time to scrutinize what I post. Before, I could give a flying F  k,
and then somewhere along the line I've come to realize that your post,( no matter the cerebal depth involved), is a reflection of the author. And also I am a college graduate with a B.A in Pol Sci, presently in college again, anf a former Army Captain. And therefore, I want all my posts to reflect that.

Thank You

Yes comrade:) we do share a commonality-but my glory days in the military ended in 1982, and even then I was not inept, but certainly lackadasial, lackluster, and happy go lucky 8) My battles were in the gravel pit of love, and in the bordellos of every town. I hope to make my hurrah in music, or at least inspire someone else. The military, along with being a prison guard, a lady shoesalesman :? (stinky job) and a beer distributor has given me plenty of material to at least put a "Mark Twain" spin in them.

(I like dat, yeah man, I like where you comin from)(talkin to myself)
