If there ever man who was railroaded it was Michael. In my heart I feel he was innocent. And I'm guilty for holding the coats of those that threw stones. And I even got laugh myself for telling a MJ Joke. It was not right, and it was cowardly. Forgive me, Michael.

I feel the same way. In my heart I too feel that he was innocent and It is not just a feeling. Listening to those who knew him, knew that he was innocent. We hear and believe exactly what the media wants us to hear and believe. Honestly, if MJ had molested my child, money would not appease me. The man would be put under the jail even if I had to put him there with my bare hands. Also, if I, as a parent, truly believed that Michael would molest a child, my son would not even be permitted to go to his home in the first place. Allowing a pedophile to be alone with a bunch of kids is no different from giving an alcoholic a Budwiser. So, I as a parent would not have allowed my child to even go into MJ's house.
I never thought about this seriously while all of this was going on. But following his death, it seems like I am thinking and hearing more clearly and more deeply. Writer, thanks for bring this up. "Michael Jackson was a gentle person living in a cruel world"_____ Depak Chopra

SLOWLY BUT SURELY THIS MAN'S INNOCENCE WILL SURFACE.
The ball has started rolling in the opposite direction.

I truly feel that his accusers will be the ones who will prove his innocence.

I dont know a grown man sleeping with kids. I dont know about molesting kids but it was common knowledge that they stayed overnite and in the same room with him. He paid huge sums of money to win his innocence. If the 35 yr old singer down the street invited your kids to come spend a few days with him, hanging out in pjs and eating popcorn in the bed watching tv, would you let your kids go?
Maybe it was harmless to you but I wouldnt want my kids over at his house.
MJ was a huge musician and probably deserves the name King Of Pop.
Im sorry he died, I think he accomplished more musically than anyone before him and maybe ever again. In this day of shrinking sales who could touch his sales volume, but that doesnt excuse very poor judgement in his personal affairs. Grown men shouldnt be having slumber partys with boys.

MJ was diffinanly a different bred, but to say he's a pedo isnt correct.
its odd he settled out of court, yes, but you are innocent until proven guilty by the court of law.

the court of law can't judge that I'm an asshole, but that doesn't mean I'm not one.
And the court of law can say he's innocent, but that can't change the truth, regardless of which side it actually falls on.
So what it really boils down to is this: he was a grown man sleeping in the same bed as pre-teen boys. I wouldn't in a million years have let my kid go to his house. Period.

I don't think Michael ever really had the opportunity to grow up. He was so young when he became so famous then sheilding himself as best he could from the f**kin users that align themselfs and try to get what they can because everyone loves to hate the rich right?
We all no how cruel the press and media can be. Just ask Don Henly what he meant when he wrote "Dirty Laundry" I don't really think Michael veiwed himself as a grown up. I also don't think he was happy being in his own skin. How sad to not be happy with yourself. I have heard that he was a perfectionist in an interveiw for, I believe it was 20/20 back in the 1990's (I video taped it). In that interveiw he said the only time he was really comfortable around people is when he was on stage performing that was his comfort zone. After President Ronald Reagan invited him to the whitehouse he later told the press when asked he couldn't believe how shy Michael was. The press can be horrible with the paparazzi taking pictures and going to press with the ugliest ones I think this affected Michael to the point where he felt like he had to look perfect and be what the press wanted him to be. Look what they did to Karen Carpenter that young girl barely into her teens and haveing that smooth voice one in a million in my opinion and all the press had to say about her was
"the chubby little sister on drums" that kind of talk can give someone in they're teens a terrible self image and I believe that this is one of the things that led her to be anorexic and buelemic thus damaging her heart and killing her. I am glad I never made it in the music biz to that level. I'll just be happy and thankful for my wonderful day job and play my music on the weekends Hey, at least I'll still be alive the good lord willing.

kramer,
im not saying that it was the right thing to do.
its like walking around with a bloody knife at a murder scene.
Never a good move.
But just becuase you have a bloody knife doesnt mean you commited the crime. It sure does come close...
But why settle out of court if it was really done? Wouldnt you seek punishment if it happened to your child? Money would not be enough for me thats for sure.

I dont know why Im drawn into this, But didnt he get accused twice of molestation? Correct me if Im wrong.
He was smart enough business wise to buy the Beatles catalog of songs, in spite of being good friends at the time with Paul McCartney. If he was smart enough and grown up enough to pull off that, he should have been smart enough not to get accused twice.
Like I said before we all look up to him as a role model because he was one of the biggest success's in music. Any of us here would have loved to have been just a a little bit as successful as he was.
But, If there was a 35 yr old man that sang music living down the street from you that moonwalked to the mailbox every day named Jacko. Wore weird clothes, military looking stuff and wore one glove. A guy that had partys with young boys or pre teens at his house all the time. Had a ferris wheel and zoo in his front yard. I think most of us on here would raise an eyebrow.
The more I write and think about this the sicker I feel about him.
I for one think that if he did get accused twice, there is something to this, way more than some guy that hasnt grown up. This guy was a master of manipulating the media to serve his needs. If indeed he was guilty, he may have pulled off a bigger deal than another guy I remember named after orange juice.
