So I'm thinking of picking up an MXR Phase 90 since I don't have a phase shifter at the moment, and am debating between the block lettering, and the script lettering version. Here's an A/B demo. I think I like would like mellower sound of the script version for most things, but could see that every once in a while the deeper sweep of the other one would be nice. Just wondered which one y'all preferred.

You can definitely here the difference between the two. Modulation is quicker on MAX and tones are way sharper and the new MAX too.

My question would be what is he using before the signal gets to either? It sounds like he has some distortion going on there. I'd prefer a clean sound to compare them.

Oops I just saw he said it was set up dirty. Clean would help really.
