Do you know what Fuji-gen is? Have you seen any of their strats? Have you played one?

pics aren't 100% accurate..this one was supposed to be a flat 57 RI like mine. (single ply pickguard, bakelite buttons and gotohs)
This is basically what I got from eBay for 160$ and I'd gladly destroy all other guitars to save it, as it out performs everything I ever had..
Sounds/plays like butter and the best tone out of any instrument I've ever heard. (imo)
I saw one the other day go for 1200$ and it was the same basic thing.

Yeah but I never saw one that wasn't the same thing..
As in generally, they are black with a single ply pickguard 57 style, v-neck, mij, bakelite knobs, gotoh tuners and 2 plastic string spacers at the head.
What I want to know is has anyone seen anything from Fuji-gen that wasn't what I just described and more importantly, how did it play?

Oh Boy. An outsourced Strat. I guess we can't make anything in America anymore since the '80s. No wonder our country's going to sh!t.

Please-please-please, play one before you bad-mouth it ZXYZ.
It's just a way above average version of a strat, nothing more and nothing less.
I just would like another in something other than a 57 RI with v-neck etc. The black is soooo ? goth. dismal.vampire-like..
At this point I don't know if they even made what I'm looking for.
I have played more than a few American Strats and I am unimpressed.
The Jap Strat I am referring to allows one to feel the plight of the proletariat via it's uncanny ability to hold tune and outright clean tones.
I.e. When I play it, I can feel the guards brutally beating the workers within an inch of their lives in order to get a better built guitar. LOL By Jove it works.. Those workers must have been very fearful...

Oh, I'm sure. And it probably is a better instrument. It's just embarassing, is all; since Fender was originally a USA company iirc..

It's just coincidental, man. lol
They just happened to get it right for once..or terror and oppression really works.

Yes, and we've adopted their terror and oppression work ethic here too, and it seems to be working equally as well.. we're all in for a bunch of sht. Oh well.. This is a topic for the political thread.. I digress.. lol..

Ever since I first saw Jimi playing that white strat and doing what he did. I wanted a strat (American made). Since the mid 1970's I started teaching my brother in law guitar and we played in bands together I am getting chills just typing this. My Bro's name was Loren he Idolized me. he was a few years younger but at a certain point he started to get better than me, man he was a Hendrix clone. Anyway he died (ran over by a train in Humbolt county California in 1986). He got the white strat before me. I have had a lot of guitars Ibenez, Les Paul, but the day I finally got my first Ameican made strat. That guitar is magic in my hands it is a direct spiritual connection between my soul and my hands I go can go where ever my spirit leads me. That one guitar sunk way down low was a one way ticket, only one way to go. Gone But Not Forgotten I will miss you always Loren. Jeff!
