Well I finally have a weekend off from playing. Got the brisket thawing gonna Marinade it all night long cooking some thick steaks tonight and ribs for dinner tomorrow while I am cooking the brisket. Plenty of beer and booze. Think I'll hunker down for the weekend its gonna be a good one while I celebrate my freedom. You know as older guy's we are concerned about where this country is headed in the future and that is normal. You get older and you are supposed to get wiser. When I was a younger fellow I was liberal and now I consider myself a moderate conservative any way you slice it now, it seems they are all a bunch of Liars. I think it is important for we as Americans, to remember where we have come from. While our political system is Farrr from perfect it is still the best one on Earth. This country helps feed more starving people and stands up for FREEDOM to our own detriment even though sometimes we stick our noses where they don't belong. Please, Please remember to thank a veteran. Be safe don't drink and drive and have a happy 4th.

I have to work tomorrow at the horsepistol, but we are packed and ready for the gig tomorrow night. Tony, our B/U singer came by and we packed everything but my guitar and amp into his vehicle.
Do you believe it, we have a singer who WORKS LOL
I'll be off Saturday and back to work Sunday. Oh did I say I have a gig Friday night, and dont forget about the gig Friday night.

Same to all here. I have work and band practice, and no real 4th of July plans because I'm lame. =[

Its my one day of freedom here in whats left in the U.S.A. I think. And I'm not even in jail!

My holiday routine (weather permitting). Get up. Go fishing. Go home. Sleep. Happy holiday!

I'm getting the Union Jack out and wearing red on that day

Mine... get up..practice.... tear up the island on my bike.... come home... wash up... grab the wife and kiddies and go to a sick 4th of July party up the road that's attended mainly by NY musicians and their families...

I'm digging my ol' musket out and shooting anyone wearing the Union Jack that day. Just kidding Chippy. With my luck, I'd probably miss you and hit one of those roosters.

Your too funny. You need your own reality show.

Oh, I might march in the 4th of July parade. My kids , who are actually adults now, will be hangin' out at the city's celecbration. It always ends with fireworkks of course and bumper to bumper traffic. Thank goodness my kids are grown and I don't have to drive in that. It is the best place to dring and drive because no one will be driving faster than 10 miles an hour.
