"the opposite of love is not hate,
it is indifference."

I forget who said that

I don't get these musicians. I despise the left (and much of the 'right' which actually left--) but I don't care if Hilary Clinton wants to use one of my tunes I'm down with it.

I don't write music to make a political point.

If someone wants to know my politics I'll address it ann issue at a time

This whole episode has been a set up from the beginning. The leftists don't give a damn about women being called sluts, but these nazi thought police have an agenda to get everyone lathered up and then stick a match into the gas tank.

They want to shut down free speech for anyone or anything that isn't "Government Approved" (as long as they in power). They don't say it in those words but the results of their actions is exactly that.

Here, in synch with other Democrat operatives attacking civil liberty, Gloria Alred is proposing legal action against Rush.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0312/73829.html

I wonder why they don't charge all the leftists who have done much worse than what Rush did? No, that would be wrong too.

But if they can play citizens (you) to support shutting down speech of people who disagree with them, then tyranny has begun and it's only a matter of time before absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Yod,

You're wasting your time with the libs. They believe they came from monkeys that have evolved from amoebas. They have the tribe mentality and want to be led by the head monkey. They believe and accept what the head monkey says. They can neither hear or accept the truth.

On the other hand, those who believe they were created in the image of God, are born with a spirit of freedom, and they strive to please God. They look to God for guidance instead of following everything the head monkey dictates. They know it is God who guides them through life. They seek wisdom and understanding through their creator. He clears away the propaganda and leads them to the truth in all things.

When the people are good and walk in the way of God, God blesses them through a good monkey, but when the people reject the principles of God, God rules them through a bad monkey. We have a bad monkey. :)

The safest road to hell is the gradual one - the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.

A young man who wishes to remain a sound atheist cannot be too careful of his reading.

The atheists I know don't read a lot of science fiction, they are too busy living outside the fantasy world.

A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.

(If anyone on this site is looking to make contacts, hook up, form bands, get a job, or do business with other musicians. They might want to think about how others will interpret what they post.Very Happy
I'm the type that researches people I do business with, the net is a closet full of information. Embarassed
Me I'm here to network, share info, and actually have used this site to gather information on persons that I am working with now.

If you plan on only working with a small certain group of people, by all means flame away, discuss politics, religion, sexual preferences here it's a forum to commit professional suicide.)

I must confess my ignorance to literature, but I read a book Billy Graham wrote once.
