But the "Maidens" provided for men in "Heaven" ARE numerous, because the term is plural. And these are "full breasted" women that are promised. And not necessarily for "warriors" alone. These maidens are provided to ALL MEN for "BEING" in Heaven.

Some Muslim scholars believe the term is just meant to show the abundant joys of Heaven, possibly in the way that Heaven for Christians is said to have "streets of Gold" - There are no physical substances such as "metals" including "gold" in a spiritual state of existence, so this is merely a metaphor of the beauty and richness of the afterlife.

I think the term "full breasted maidens" is humorous though.

To differentiate between moderate Islamic beliefs and EXTREMIST Islamic beliefs, like the ones held by Hasan, which caused him to ATTACK American military, as "aggressors" and "enemies of Islam" both of which he stated publicly.

America is the ENEMY of Islam. In his EXTREMIST view, He was DEFENDING Islam against the ENEMY. Though He was an American.

WE MUST NOT BE ARAID TO CALL OUT ISLAM and MAKE THIS DISTINCTION between Islam itself and Islamic EXTREMISTS.

I think it is GOOD to do this, which helps SEPARATE the two, and may encourage more Muslims toward moderation rather than EXTREMISM.

It also lets Americans understand, that there "IS" a big difference between MODERATE Islamists and Islamic EXTREMISTS, so "hopefully" they do not paint ALL MUSLIMS with the same brush.

It could work the other way of course. But I doubt that. RELIGIONS can MODERNIZE when they have something at stake. Look at Mormons who ABANDONED their position on polygamy in order to join the union, and have Utah become part of America.

Maybe this will help Muslim peoples gravitate toward modernism and away from extremism?

The only point that I might be willing to give you in all of this is that more of their loonies are willing to band together...but as I've said before, that is mostly our own fault. If we wisely used to the same methods we use in this country to keep ppl divided on them, there would be virtually no problem at all, provided we allow for their cultural differences.

Unfortunately, we either don't understand their culture well enough to do that, or we think we're way too powerful to need to care. (A HUGE mistake!) We do keep trying, though, don't we? But as long as we approach them with a merchant (i.e.,judeo-christian) mentality, we will lose in our efforts to sway them in any way, & their ties will become stronger than ever. They do not rule themselves with the market as we do.

Until we realize that, the world will never be able to return to business as usual for us or our allies.

I fully expect to hear many more "stories" of the man's evil islamic influences & ties over the next few months, as we continue to spin things against the evil moslem's religion. It's a simple divide & conquer strategy, & you're buying into it hook, line & stinker, just like Hassan did in his own way. It may work here, but it's fairly obvious that this tactic does not work on them in the ways we hope.

We need to try a new method, if we are going to make any positive change. That does not seem to be our goal. We seem to be driven to escalate these differences, if the results of our actions are any indicator, & this will bring about the end of civilization quickly if we don't take better steps to change, to quit scheming against them in the name of the almighty dollar.

The more we cry "foul" at this religion, the more attractive it will become to your average loony, too.

As long as we continue going at our diplomacy with a judeo-christian attitude, rather than a secular one, we will continue to show them little but contempt, & they will continue to react against us in their usual way.
