Let me correct you on the estimated number of illegals in the US, it's not 20 million, the estimate number is 12 million or less.
Estimated contributions to the US economy from illegal’s is between 13 to 15 Billion, while you guys squabble for the scraps left by corporate America and their lobbyist, the real damage is done not by few illegal’s, the real damage to our economy is done by people who control the economy of the entire country. The financial disaster that we find ourselves in was not caused by aliens, the loss of wages, jobs, homes; saving pension plan was not caused by aliens.

Don’t reason with your frustration and emotion, look and inform yourselves who is doing what and the consequences these actions have on all of us. Now having said that let point out that even in a good economy, there will always be people who will fare poorly for various reasons relative to others, we have few examples on this board, these guys I’m guessing in their 50s have lived and experienced a strong economy to no avail, they are poor and probably die poor, I suspect even if they win the lotto their lack of capability will make them poor again.

Take stock of yourselves, stop blaming others for you failures if you are a born looser it’s not the fault of aliens legal or illegal, if your argument is right that Americans are doing poorly because of aliens how to explain that most Americans are still employed and prospering? It’s because success has to do with ambition, drive, talent, marketable skills, intelligence, and willingness to put up with the rat race day in and day out.
There was a time when a carpenter once he learned his trade he could make a living for life, these days does not work that way, one has to be trained, evolve and mutate to suit the job market throughout his/hers career life, he who fails to understand this is doomed to poverty.

My brother-in-law got laid off because his great American company farmed out his job to somebody in India. Our laws make it profitable for companies and greedy back-stabbing corporate CEO's to send the money they make overseas. Hell if I had a chance to survive in another country and SEND ALL MY DOLLARS back home I'd do it to. The real villains are the employers who pay them under the table. If the ILLEGAL immigrants had no way to earn a dollar here they wouldn't come here. I believe in capitalism with a healthy dose of oversight. We already have aspects of socialism in this country, social security, medicare, medicaid, etc. We DON'T have effective oversight, effective checks and balances. Our illegal drug enforcement is a joke. It provides a huge incentive for the drug cartels. We need to figure a way to take the profit motive completely away from the drug cartels. When Mao Tse-Tung took over in China one of his first acts of government was to execute all prisoners who were there on drug charges AND take drug addicts out of hospitals and EXECUTE them. The drug problem was solved over night. I DON'T want that here. I'd rather LEGALIZE all drugs, collect taxes from companies selling drugs (cigarette companies are ready to sell pot cigarettes) and prosecute people who actually commit crimes, and DOUBLE the sentence of people who commit crimes while high on something INCLUDING alcohol. I'd like to see an impenetrable border. This argument over ILLEGAL immigrants will be endless until we completely close off the border. Anyway enough about this crap, unfortunately it will won't be solved by us on Bandmix. We need to talk about music, that's what we're here for. Speaking of music, where's your audio? Have you considered how many of these illegals are being exploited, used unfairly, paid unfairly, & held in virtual (&, in some cases, literal)slavery, themselves? THAT is also what you are arguing for, when you argue for their "right" to be here. They cannot go to the law when things happen to them, because they are running from it. Thus, they have to make their own laws & systems of redress when things go wrong for one of them. You cannot protect them if they have no right to be here - not from us "racists" or from each other.

No amount of sensible, factual responses will make any difference, we're dealing with an illiterate fool with nothing better to do than cause discontent. I'm even more irritated by the greed and corruption in our government that made the illegal immigrant situation possible, and would absolutely love to see some of the corporations profiting from it prosecuted. Calm down, think it over and post the same information, but in a calm and conversational manner and you will deprive him of the negative energy he thrives on. It will also go right over his head, he has no intention of engaging in a sensible debate or considering the facts even when right under his nose. Sensible comments will be ignored, or misinterpreted and twisted around to fit his agenda. The only way to deal with someone of this nature is don't give him what he wants, he feeds on the negative energy produced by anger, it's what he lives for. I am just having some fun at his expense and I swear I am not mad. I have actually looked forward to his post and this is definately out of character for me to do and I completely agree with everything you just posted I was thinking the same thing about his age. Wow.I would argue there is no cure at all for racism. Racism is a moral issue, stemming from personal beliefs. So I read your "vigilant and militant" to mean killing off people you disagree with. This is the pot calling the kettle black.

I have nothing against LEGAL immmigrants, no matter where they are from. People who are here illegally need to get the fu*k out of this country PRONTO....

AMEN BOB!!! There are people that relocate to the US from all over the world everyday, and they go through the proper LEGAL channels to get their visa's, permits, etc. I say "Welcome" to anyone coming here legally.
