he sounds no more like Pat Martino than a man on the moon.. link me to one tune he does that even comes close..Planetguy, he sounds like Planetguy.. and that's why he plays truck stops and pizza joints

If you keep practicing every day and work at it hard enough, you might one day progress to Planetguy's level and be able to get a gig too .... with something other than a delusional hillbilly garage band, 60 miles away, playing Skynard tunes.

You said you liked my song better than Mark's. The melody line of my song is VERY minimalistic. Mark used a lot more ornamentation (embellishments) than me. If Mark sounds like an old guy, I guess that makes me a cadaver??

I heard Johnny Mac burn a hole through the floor back in '71. I admired his virtuosity but it didn't make his songs any more musical than 'Twinkle Twinkle'. Maturity comes from self constraint. One short riff by Hubert Sumlin was more 'musical' than the machine gun approach of Johnny Mac.

you know jook, I did not ask for any of this once again, if planetguy would have any courtesy at all, would he have not private messaged me? instead of humiliation for the umpteenth time? soundcloud messages, he has shot me emails on yahoo?.. does he enjoy stuff like this? him and his buddy that is attacking me in every conceivable way possible? "hillbilly" "foghat costumes" Lynard would have allied with me like this Sanbob dude, but every Sunday I see Lynard at the swap meet and if this place ever comes up, he has nothing but hate and discontent for this place.. more phonies than you can shake a stick at using all sort of tactics if you want to publically TRY to humiliate somebody on the chopping block.. where is he? he has disappeared that planetguy

no you misconstrued that.. when you said Planetguy has an air of musical maturity, I meant he does have an air of an old guy playing, solid but not taking chances musically..did not mean Martino

all hat and no cattle talk.. the only way to prove your planetguy worship bravado, would be to have me and planetguy get together with guitars and have a tape machine running, and we could have the panel of judges decide on who is better, other than you, his spokesperson.. maybe 5 tunes each.. Yngwie Malmsteen tune, a Freddie King tune a Lee Ritenour Tune, a Ricky Skaggs tune and a Segovia tune and we get 3 weeks to work them up, and let the panel decide? if you think planetguy is better than me I would need to have that proven, not told to me by a punk such as yourself

you see, I've been through this before about grading somebody's work.. I mentioned it earlier today, how I got a C+ grade on a poem I wrote in 1971 for The Iowa Poetry Day Association contest in 9th grade, but when the poem was submitted along with 10's of thoudsands of poems, I placed 4th and awarded a certificate and write-up in the Des Moines Register.. never forget the teacher pointing out my flaws avbout that poem and then to place 4th out of 10's of thousands .. that is why I let nobody grade me on art or writing unless I get an un-biased appraisal.. you are biased because of your ( this sounds insane) "love"? for planetguy

it was such a fiasco, I felt bad yesterday about pulling that tune with the vocal down, after promising you some collab projects, that I hurriedly improvised that riff, recorded it on the DR-05 and then played it back using the computer speakers to record another track on the DR-05 with the electric, the whole dissonant intonation thing might be caused by me not aware of a feature that you can speed up in PLAYBACK mode the DR-05 since now I remember a screen with a 1.4 and a 1.0 setting? maybe I was getting a "tape stretch" effect except digitally...I am going to gut the whole thing, and as much as I hate to do it, learn the new Ableton Live 9 Lite recording software which is quite a bit differently set up from the Line 6 Edition Live Lite 5.0.1 which I used on the Windows XP computer, which is now bubble wrapped up stowed away although the puter still good.. need a monitor for it and I could go dedicated DAW using it, plus need to clear out some ebay inventory to make room for a "studio"

new arrangement: punch out non-essential "clutter" I tried to reduce this to a more rhythmic "idea".. I'm gonna have to invest in a metronome
