suck, the more other people say you suck. It is karma.

Guess what. Some of my music sucks to some people. That is NORMAL. It's supposed to be that way. Yes it is all subjective. Yes if i have any distortion on my guitar my grandmother will not like it. That's normal and fine. Some people only identify with vocals. They hear an instrumental and it sucks. That's normal. It's all subjective. And to millions of people including me nickleback sucks. That doesn't make me in trouble with the karma police. It makes me normal. If you guys think no music sucks you are either lying to us, yourselves, both or you are clueless. There IS good and bad.

I guess I'm clueless, because I truly believe,
no good can come from bad thoughts, and only good
can come from good thoughts. Where I'm at in my
life today is direct proof of that, I quit concentrating on
the bad and focus only on the good, and it's changedmy life.
You wouldn't believe me if Itold you how it's postively
affected my life, I barely believe it myself, and I'm living it.

Let's qualify that idea. If you put an aspirin in your mouth and chewed it up does it taste good or bad? Does recognizing a bad flavor = a bad or negative thought? I don't equate recognizing bad as being bad. I am not guilty of anything bad for recognizing bad music.

Let's look at a closer (to us) example. What if I critique someones music and broke it down to the good and bad parts. Should the artist take offense? gtZip didn't.

Alright let's qualify that thought.

Then how can you account for all the ways I personally am so positive and grateful? Ask someone who sees me on FB for instance how many times and things I thank God for. Jimmy for instance. I wager that I am one of the most constantly positive people here. From tastebuds, to snow, to laughter, to dogs, to music, to prayer, to family and on and on I celebrate and give thanks for so much daily. from the the smallest to the biggest. Yet I still can recognize bad things.

I mean we are still at the same impasse. You think recognizing bad is bad for you. I think recognizing bad is not bad for you.

Shoot let's run that thought out. We read a story in the news about a murderer. Is calling the murder a bad thing bad? Does that then poison your garden?

Neanderpaul... Nowhere, in any of my posts, am I criticizing anybody for their 'tastes' or 'preferences'. My beef is with the over-kill hostility generated by Detroit sports fans.. toward one band, who is more than "Nickleback... They are human beings. I don't think its right to objectify people to the point that they become an iconic target of hostility.

Put yourself in their shoes... I dare you to go stand at the next star spangled banner gig and deliberately f**k it up, really bad... ... I dare you to stand there and "try" to explain to an angry mob that youre just a regular guy like them... If you don't get what I'm sayin here then you aint got no soul...bro.,.

What a bunch of namby pamby horse crap. Of course good and bad is subjective, just like beauty and ugliness are defined by the perceiver, but this does not mean they don't exist. Bad music is simply music you don't care to listen to, so of course it exists. Listening to bad music pollutes your creative spirit, while listening to good music enhances it. If you like music that I think is bad there's a pretty good chance your music sucks too, at least for me.
