Exactly right, they want to keep you alive for as long as possible so you can consume as much of their outrageously expensiive drugs as possible.

Yeah, the drugs are expensive, I sometimes hear the prices and think "Are they out of their minds..." - Apparently not though, lol, they know what they are doing, tons more money for them.

I know, but if a person is sick, what other choice do they have but to take these drugs.

Thats why I say that the game is rigged, when you have corporations running everything while buying off politicians, that usually doesnt come out good for the people.

I agree, I think there is corruption, trust me, I know that much. This whole world is corrupt though, everything is money, money buys everything, sick little world.

Lmao. Gopher, you learn from teachers. Not all teachers are ignorant, stupid, useless, mind controlling, people. I am sorry if you have come across some who are, but I have not.

There is no such thing as limiting yourself to learning from a teacher by the way. You learn from just living as well. I have learned a lot from my life experiences and life in general. I have seen enough traumas that I want to be a doctor. That is important to me.

You are assuming the wrong one to be ignorant. I am far from it, I am smarter than I come off. I have not limited my learning capacity, if anything it is rather vast.

Not everything in this world is absolute, yes, we can say that is true. There are a lot of things that are missing information, that is not unusual, because not one person knows all of the facts. But that is why when you sit down in a classroom, the teacher not only teaches you, but hands you a book to read. Those books cover everything, from things inside the classroom of study to more advanced material that one can use.

Teachers are an important figure, without them one cannot progress properly. It is not easy to do everything on your own, I should know this being a home-school student. I may be happy I did not endure public schooling, but I still want to go to college and meet professors, and sit in their presence, and absorb their knowledge. It is that knowledge that will help me on my path to becoming a Biomedical Engineer.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Well GA I will agree with that with the exception of history. This is not "absolute" information that they are teaching. They are merely repeating what has been taught to them by a government regulated curriculum. Since I have been out of high school I have learned a huge amount about history that the teachers never mentioned in school. Notice how America is always the good guy that tries to fight tyranny in the world. I have found out later in life thats not always the truth.

Yeah, the whole thing that "America" is great, is a bunch of crock, lol. I love my country, it is not that, I just think we do stupid things, like, oh, attacking Iraq with a lie, and not impeaching a president who is killing all of us...

Lol.

Yeah. That is a cold hard slap in the face when this truth comes barreling down the road at us. I think possibly, more harm than good is accomplished by re-inventing history like that. There is much to be proud of about America's history and also plenty to be ashamed of. Honesty allows us to seek a better path for our nation and it's people. And it allows our people to be more cautious and realistic about our political leaders and their real agendas, which are often at odds with their publicly stated purposes. It requires the citizens being more aware of the truth, so that we can pressure our representatives into better actions.

America IS great. It is not always "good".

There is a difference. I think you were alluding to that, but I encourage you to be clear about it. Taking a "poor" view of America to an extreme is just as wrong as taking a "good" view of it to an extreme. This country is not served by trashing her, any more than she is served by lying about her virtues.

I truly believe this country has done more good in the world than any country in history ever has, but we have be honest about our shortcomings as well.

GA alot of that sentiment is what I call crass patriotism - meaning basically knee jerk, jingo bullshit by people who mostly have no clue about our real history. It's the same crap as expecting everyone to walk around with a little flag on their lapel as some sort of litmus test to their allegiance. I'm so glad Obama refuses to do it. He makes a great point, which unfortunately will be lost on the stiff armed right-tards.

Anyway, I do love my country. But I do not cleave to "My country, right or wrong." Instead I say "My country BETTER be right."

I must be one of those stiff arm right-tards, I,d like to bleed that lyin socalist sob in a dark alley somewhere. America is the last bastion of liberty in the world. Her people (like all people) may at times be way off course but Her Ideal of Life Liberty and the persuit of Chicks, I mean a Justice is worthwhile.
