Lol. I agree Craig Maxim, those bands should be considered like a "smooth alternative." They should be compiled onto a CD that way.

*Wipes eyes with tissue* Too many sad songs for me, excuse me as I go see a shrink.

haha :D forget the shrink-- play guitar. thats therapy enough for the right-side of the brain. (or is it the left half?)

Right side of the brain is responsible for interpreting music, but the left is responsible for interpreting speech, I believe. When you asked that Gi, I was surprised I did not know that without looking it up. I really need to go study the brain, lol. On the contrary though, I think the whole brain is responsible for a total song. For instance, if there are lyrics I would imagine that is considered speech interpretation, so the left side of the brain does that, where as the music part is the right.

You are right though, I will just stick to my guitar as therapy. Plus listening to music online with my new headphones. I got the new Bose QC3's. I am obsessed now. Lmao.

uuummm Bose...
I don't know why i'm asking this, how's the bass response on those?
I have cheap Radio Shack headphones that i use late at night on the computer, its main convenience is separate volumes on each earpiece.
I was going to get the Bose computer speaker system, i couldn't bring myself to pay that much.

Well if you are referring to the bass as in bass guitar, I have no clue. However, if you are referring to the general bass, it is fine. They have excellent sound quality (They better for $350!). It is like sitting in a movie theater. I love them. Plus, they have noise cancellation, so any unwanted noise in the background can be cut out. They are extremely good. I would recommend them to anyone. I have yet however to test them on a guitar amplifier. I will be curious to see how they respond to that. But since I spend most of my time on the computer and my job is on the computer, these come in major handy.

I had a cheap pair of headphones, bought them at Guitar Center for about $20. They broke in a month, had so-so sound quality, and I would never buy them again, lol. I once bought a pair of Sony's a couple years back, $14 dollars. They were great, I loved those. They lasted me about 3 months and I would then go buy a new pair when those would break. Loved those, I do not think they make them anymore though. They were earbuds.

$350!?!?!?!?! whew
I think that the bass response would be nice in earphones of that calibre.

If i had something like that i'd have to wear them constantly, my middle son (18 ) has a way of blowing every speaker he comes in contact with; he thinks it's fun to turn the bass and volume all the way up...i've told him i don't know how many times it doesn't work like that, but he's yet to listen. :x

Lmao. Yeah, I think unless you know now to over do it on an amplifier or speaker of any kind, you just end up breaking it. I am a monster with headphones, these are a God send. I use to rip the connection wire, now these do not have an exact wire connection, it is a separate hook up wire that you plug into the back of the ear piece. So that keeps me from needing to replace the headphones when the wire breaks. Face it, we young adults/teenagers are a walking disaster. Lol.

And yes, $350 is a ton of money for headphones, but these are worth it to me. I think I will put a bullet proof vest on them before I go to bed, lmao.

Hey Franny, Make him buy his own sh*t man! Then perhaps he'll learn to appreciate the value of things?

The funny thing is, I do not know any of those songs or bands (Except I have heard of Simon and Garfunkel). What is the genre of those bands?
