but all the work was done by fender and all these amps are copies of his designs.
mesa mk amps, by their own admission is a hotroded fender Princeton

class b is cleaner brighter sharper and favored by the metal crowd
in aside you can't get hendrix's superb cleans with a set of el34's

and you'll need a 5 string banjer to cop one of earl scrugg's forward rolls. can't pull that off on no pointy headed shredder no matter how big of a tube sock you've stuffed in yer spandex.

i see it is a mil spec tube
not a direct replacement for a 12ax7
JAN mil spec in any configuration are very hardy but sound awfull
and not being a direct replacement I certainly would not recommend putting it in any guitar amp
but who knows, it could be a secret weapon
