Well of course I disagree, it IS my generation that created the vast majority of the world's greatest music - NOT the younger generation. Second, many of the greats have gotten better, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour and many others have vastly improved in their playing as they aged, Hendrix is dead so who knows how good he would be now.

Also, popular music changes therefore there is far less demand for new rock than there was 30 to 40 years ago. Your generation has Justin Beeber and Lady Gaga to be proud of.
