You guys have offered some very good insight here and it is much appreciated! Coming up in the 70's I had my experience with this stuff and MANY other drugs. I agree that pot should not be illegal but the fact remains that it IS! I have tried so hard to raise these kids right and I thing I have done a pretty good job (there is always room for improvement) LOL! With my original train of thought in mind I guess I was trying to say that we should be happy we have our health and our children are healthy and happy. Like my ole pops used to say GRHS! Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. Oh! and by the way when I went into the back yard and caught them puffin on a fatty you should have seen the look on their faces LMFAO! Dad this is so and so he used to live in this neighborhood. Too which I replied good I just wanted to know who you are so I can tell the cops your name LMAO! they all scattered! I guess there is a fringe benefit to being the old man after all YEAH BUDDY!

Good thing you didn't have daughters, you'd probably think you were going to prevent them from having sex. Kids are growing up faster than we did and there's not a thing you can do about except be honest and love them.

I know a little about mild autism or (high functioning autism) as my nephew has it. My sis had hell raising him but they never diagnosed him until recently he is now 24. He would have terrible temper tantrums until about 2 years ago they put him on some meds that have made a world of difference! In a way I almost agree with Jimmy that we can only CONTROL kids until those hormones hit and then its hell until they finally mature! All you can do is the best you can and then PRAY that they survive being a teen. I know I would not want to be a teenager again HELL NO! Not even for a million dollars at 52 years of age and after 2 divorces the worst time of my life was being a teenager it TOTALLY SUCKED!
