Marshall sounds good, but too loud for most anything.

Get a master volume, attenuator or different amp.

Old Fender combos are my new drug of choice, "blackfaced" or set for AB763 with reverb and a trem or vibrato.

Just give me a Les Paul, and a Fender "Super Reverb" amp. And I'll get the job done ! 8)

Thats funny Glen, cause Ive got this little amp a Mesa Subway Rocket, 20 watter and it has about the best tone of any of my amps, big or small. But its the smallest thing I would take out live. So in this case size doesnt matter its all in the tone anyway, Right?

My Marshall TSL is overkill for most rooms I play but the tone is so great.
