Philby, in medieval times, there once was this real sourpuss of a king who had never smiled in his life. He thought that, maybe, he was missing an important part of life and so decreed that any man of the kingdom who could make him smile would win a chest of gold, BUT, if they failed they would be beheaded. All the wisemen in his court and all of the scholars throughout the kingdom thought about it, but all were afraid of failure and so, no one would attempt it. Many weeks went by with no one even willing to try. Then one day, the court jester, who had been studying a new form of humor called puns, decided to give it a go, and so he picked ten of the best puns he had heard and presented them to the king in hopes that at least one would do the trick and, thus, make him a wealthy man, but, alas....NO PUN IN TEN DID!!
