Yeah, I think this is a classic "poser" case. Nothing but lies and fabrications of skills that he can't possibly possess. I've run into a few of these from craigslist, claim they can play circles around anyone, already know all the material, have $50k in pro gear... but they NEVER show up for the audition.

I always thought being emo and goth meant that you let yourself be all that you are, see all your feelings as valid and accept yourself as a whole person, always striving for self-improvent and preservation, therefore having no need to justify yourself.

LISTEN TO THESE GUYS! Trust me I was 16 only 9 years ago. I was a "grunge/metal" kid who thought he owned the key to the world of music but I grew up. I grew up when I learned that I'm not always right and I should just shut up and take in the words of not just those older than me but all those around me willing to opinionate. I grew up when I realized that I should quit attempting to negate every line someone offered as advice. For real... you know everything there is to know when you realize it is impossible to know everything. As far as the screamo thing... you'll be out of that phase in 4 years. There's a world of music out there and, coming from someone who once played your role, you're only scratching the surface.

I live here in Arkansas and the only Electric Cowboys near here are in Fort Smith and Little Rock and they wouldn't be booking the likes of Blink 182 (unless they've gone country). I don't keep up with the Blinkies, or RJA for that matter, but I'm good with Google and I just checked up on them and the ugly truth shone through.

I know that I for one wasn't bashing on you for you physical age but rather you mental age, but I'll be constructive just to prove I'm a real human being, if you're going to try to stand out in the genre of your choice, you'd better try to break the mold a little bit, and make yourself different from every other act out there, maybe wear a skirt instead of tight ass girls pants?!
