OK, This Justin Sandercoe thing may be just the ticket. I'll have to send him a donation, just saved me a bunch of cash and windshield time.
Thanks Again Craig!

You're very welcome bro.

And jonesin'?

Yeah, we are starting two practices a week this week, but it's not soon enough for me. LOL

I'm anxious to get back to it.

btw... Anyone know a bass player in Atlanta that is good, and can slap a little funk out too, let us know please. We have a drummer joining us on a tentative basis, but the bass player is afraid of being able to commit to the schedule we will be getting soon.

We are looking for a permanent bass player, that can tour full time in a year. We will be cutting an album from scratch in the studio as well, hopefully starting in a few months, depending on when we get all the players in place.

IE to jones (verb) DT's, withdrawl symptoms. shakey hands sweaty palms, that urge to kill something. Kinda like not getting any for three days.
Best O luck on your projects. I'll be sure to talk to our Father about it.

LOL

No, I know what Jonesin' is. I was agreeing with you, like "... you think YOU are jonesin?... me too!"

And thanks VERY much for keeping us in your prayers.

I don't think I'll ever be there...hell, I'm 53, fer crissake, & I haven't done anything really new or groundbreaking, yet, & I doubt I ever will at this point.

Still, I've written some damned good stuff that I'm proud of, & my audiences ask for consistantly...that's gotta be good enough for me.

I've enjoyed the run I've had, for the most part. That's what counts to me. I've made some good bucks at times, too.

Being in the HoF would be something that I never really considered. It isn't as important to me as the music, the audience, & the self-satisfaction I get from doing well at it all.

That being said, it would be pretty cool, though, wouldn't it? To get that kind of recognition from some ppl who supposedly "count" in the industry.

Kudos to Madonna & the Ventures, & to all who have been inducted thus far...it shows that they worked very hard, if nothing else. You think it's EASY to get in there? It's just a pat on the back from your cronies? Sour grapes, that...You're just too bitter at your own lousy chances to see how much effort these ppl put into thier acts, whether or not you can appreciate them.

Yeah, the day I make it into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame would be the day that Elvis and Jesus rise up from the dead and create world peace. I'd rather be in a fairly well known bar band than a worldwide phenomenon. That's too much responsibility for a guy like me. I think it's best to actually have an audience that appreciates your music and then you can actually get down off the stage and have a drink with them rather than be mobbed for autographs by screaming little girls.

And by the way, I'd rather not give up my personal guitars/jackets/or all other memorabilia to be put in some rock and roll museum in Cleveland anyways. Those things would be passed down to my kids. f**k the museum.

Things like the hall of fame... youre just not gonna be in there if youre not already on your way to being famous by the age of, oh say, 22. Then you have to have a fairly lengthy and significant career as well.
So respect to anyone that has been inducted.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that for most of us, what we really want is to leave something behind that will be known and remembered and enjoyed for decades. Maybe forever.

... One monster song can get ya close to immortality.

Ok... well, call it a legacy then.
To leave something behind that says 'I was here', to those outside of your immediate family. Or heck, even for your family.
(And positive legacies only please!)

i just need something to do with my time since I basically dropped out of high school. Not that I'm not smart or anything, but I was in a very tough time with drugs and drama and sh*t so I couldnt handle it. The only regret I have in my life so far was not earning my diploma..

And I honestly don't see myself doing anything else with my life. Music is the only thing I ever care about anymore and I basically live my life just so I could wake up every morning and play guitar or write a song. I would love to be able to make a living just by writing a few tunes and playing to a few people hah.

i got a long way to go :P
