when I was 15 I built a Heathkit HW-101 transceiver, I had so many cold solder joints it was ridiculous but nobody I trained under other than Mr. Wantland the electronics high school teacher, and I don't recall even soldering under him in class.. this was well before digital electronics come out into the open.. when is ARPNET or before,, bet the internet was getting started for military and universities.. 1972
