Did someone moderate this site before Mike and Sans?

Will someone Moderate this site when they or someone else decides to end their agreement to do so?

When you see your "rights" based on the "terms of use" being violated, let it be known. (But I don't see it happening with these gents being the Mods. jmo) Otherwise you have nothing to stand on here. You see a mountain... most others here... a molehill.

YES... Some one moderated this site. IT WAS THE OWNERS. This is all a shot at increasing advertising revenue. ASK VINNY.

The owners were doing a fine job of moderating their property until 2 members decided on their own free will that the owners were not. They negotiated a deal and the rest is history. Unfortunately our 2 moderators didn't understand that they were just being used by corporate America to increase their PROFIT.

By the way Mike was bragging about taking down two posts in life in Canada. I'll never read anything there. In My Opinion I guess he just needed to feel important. LOL!!!!!

You liked Mike and George a week ago. Now you don't. What have they done wrong other than except an unpaid post from a private business? I don't get it.

Being a moderator is a pain in the neck - nobody does that for power because the price is too high: time. The one thing none of us has enough of to fritter away.

I am sort of a fan of moderation so bravo to you guys for stepping up. I do believe in "their house, their rules" and this place has been the wild west with no rules for a long time. Musicians are a funny bunch and do need some limitations sometimes to reel in the personal attacks. Like a good thoroughbred, there is a time to reign em in and a time to let em run. If you never use the reigns you and the horse will soon end up in a ditch.

If you had thought it out a bit more you would have understood the part of censorship by an individual.

Being a moderator on a forum is not fascism. For goodness sake pal.

The two guys chosen as mods were I suspect, chosen because of all of us, they are historically the most helpful to new guys. Check their posts - being a mod on a web forum is a useful role.

I perceive that you have had an unpleasant experience with a mod on some other site. Has nothing to do with Mike and George. Cut those guys some slack and move on. Seriously.

It's not hard to do either. If you don't want someone insulting you, just don't insult them. Pretty simple. Most forums have an almost identical TOU and that's basically what it tries to do, get you to do things that way.

Of course we always have malcontents who refuse to do so, even though they originally did agree to. Which makes them completely dishonest...and they know where the door is, or can be booted out of it either way is fine with me.
