I checked our ATT bill for the charges. We have 4 lines and each line is charged .26/ month.
With ATT it's called Regulatory Cost Recovery Charge.

You are telling me all these taxes are going to support schools and libraries nation wide. I see NO evidence to support that.

Well... I don't call it a tax but you can go to the FCC website if you want to know who benefits from this program. They do include schools and libraries as participants.

I have been playing in two bands and haven't had time to get in the studio. I just got a big promotion at work and had to trim that back to 1 band. I'll have more time for the studio now. I guess by that I mean no more excuses!

No worries Scott, I was just frustrated over the nonsense. And it is nonsense, which makes me even more frustrated. All the problems we got in the world, and THIS nonsense is drawing so much debate? Let's just take the cost of it from the pentagon's budget, it will equal about 0.0000014% of it. Also equal to just one of the mysterious missing pallets of cash that was sent to Iraq for an as-of-yet unexplained reason, and people just forgot where they put it, or why.

If they would put HALF the effort into answering the questions on the missing cash as they do in these "obama phones", we might start getting somewhere on prosecuting government criminals and stop bashing poor people for taking advantage of what amounts to a social program.

I'm much calmer now.. work been busy, not much time to dilly-dally on bmix this week. Thank spaghetti monster.
