Did I stutter? Try to follow along now.

That was not the same version by far I got a week later, it was further edited.

Sir Jams A lot.. I knew I knew that sour face of yours.

Nah - red Tuesday is my band name and we're looking for a guitarist, so I changed the profile name.

I can't believe you threw lalong under the bus like that. Honestly, you should look in the mirror for why your song doesn't meet your expectations - if you can't sing a song into a recorder and say "hey, that's a decent song", then you have no business blaming the guy you hired to mix your song for it being "crap".

Better now we stop than to get to a better tune and have this go on again.
"You want to butcher it, do it by yourself".

"No major changes that I don't know of or just skip me altogether because it removes the will for me to want to participate".

He threw me under the bus when he changed it behind my back.

Aka, faq off "Sir Jams A Lot"...lol You wanker..

Red Tuesday captures the essence of this thread.

I think the song is interesting, has potential and still needs some work. Infantile personal attacks probably make this impossible. Both musicians bring something to the table here but fragile egos will prevent it from ever bearing fruit.

A collaboration is always difficult and requires extreme patience and cooperation with other musicians involved. It may require setting aside for 6 months to stew a little and then return to the studio. Rushing music before it is ready or forcing the issue with "my way or the highway" is certain death. Too bad gents, it could have been a contender.

My buddy just said it the best.

"You can't have people choking on work already done and in the final hours rolling back the work to pre-work stages because anyone isn't sure what to do".

And he also laid this little diddy on me, "Tell Ruby Tuesdays that Appleby's makes a great meal". lol

Yea he's drunk but that's the course of the night, better to wet down the situation and pour ambesol over this bag of sh*t because you can't bring back that tune from where it was.

"The sh*t was done", gents and whatever it was, it wasn't that.

Let it die. Easy, simple, over..

It got adjusted by the omniscient one and it's done, for whatever it is, it is.

But so am I, write all you like and don't forget your red crayon and to color within the lines. lol

To be honest, the track does not sound as coherent as it could. There's something very good inside, but it's wrapped up like an Apple in an Oranges skin. If you like, the Tang is there, but without the meat.
I'm not the best to talk about it really, and frankly I hope something good comes at least from the experience.

That's a very polite way of putting it.

I wish I could be that calm about it.

I equate it to a round of "Row-Row-Row your boat" except now we stripped off 2 out of 3 "rows' of it.

Now it's just "row your boat".. lol

"Can't have any flavor if you remove all the fat on the piece".

If ya don't get that, I can't possibly make you understand the issue at hand...

And if one more motherfuckers says it got put up too early, I am sending the whole lot of you a good set of reading glasses.

THE sh*t WAS DONE, just like me. I am taking a break from this horseshit. "What major part of the tune do you want to delete off of it now"? How about we just cut the guitar out all together?

It's the same idea. You can't remove all the white meat and still have a Turkey, unless you are talking about Lester.. lol

(Bill the Pill)(thank you for bringing this up)

Bill just spit out some more drunken wisdom, he asks the question, "if you remove all the harmony from that piece, just what in your cotton picking little minds do you perceive that that tune has left in it"?

"Nothing" is my answer. If you sterilize all the harmony in it, you reduce it to nothing.

That's the difference to me, from something to nothing.

If he removed all the harmony in it, it's got NADA.

If he was going to delete that work, just delete the whole tune cause that's what made it good to me.

If you don't see it that way, ok. But you'd be wrong and that perspective is gleaned from being "too close to the welding shield" but that's where you get the best view. (look directly at the light and do not avert your eyes)

In order to throw eggs effectively, at least be able to see your target you pile of blind ninnies.

If you are just coming in to "gawk at the dead body" well fine then.
Poke it with a stick or what have you, but do it and get out.
Show's over..now go the f**k home.

In a big nutshell this entire thread is about what's wrong with bands these days: an inability to communicate and/or an inability to listen. It also clearly shows what happens when people on your team don't share your vision. BEFORE going to a studio know EXACTLY what needs to be done, no guesswork, otherwise crap like this happens.

Bob you must remember this is not a band, this was an online collaboration. To expect the same results that you might get from people actually working together in the same room is silly. To get ANY results is frankly remarkable. So it didn't turn out exactly how you envisioned it. BFD. Get over it, move on, do or don't do but quit the crying.

The fastest way to kill the creative process is to disrespect the other players involved. If the shoe fits....

Okay...AT this point I'm laughing my ass off... The funny part is the Deja Vu

Is it me, or does this happen every time Scotty posts another song...

Time for another the X-Ray, fellas! Now please wear this lead-apron, whilst I go into the other room... hee hee... )

In the meantime... 11000 miles away, hundreds of Japanese are fleeing from Godzilla, who's just announced a new song... Another 6000 miles, Germany has just blazed the Hindenburg...Ohhhhh the humanity! In America, a ghetto girl jumps the counter at McDonald's for a throw-down with an employee and meets up with a Mc 9-Iron by the manager...

Its all good. Scotty, LALOng... SHake hands and make up ...agree to agree and disagree... Like I said, you guys done some great stuff together.. Dont get petty... get past it.

 8)

Nope, "faq" you dawg. You really are a dingdong.
(crushes snickers bar and throws it at him)

It was agreed upon, the tune was done.

If anyone wants to change it after that, SPEAK THE f**k UP> else get the faq out of my sight and stay out of my sight.

If you use my guitar, my bass and my voice and don't tell me about major changes of course I will be upset. It's part of me too, asshole.

I like writing with Les because it's easy as hell, but when he thinks it's okay to modify it at his will, we are at an impasse and NOT to do this type of sh*t should be obvious to most.

There's some other things that are part of the equation, but they are no longer relevant at this point.

I'm not a slave and wouldn't write under this type of regiment, even under penalty of death. Just kill me, it would have been less painful.

Besides now Les can get his 4 octave singer now.. (I think Pavarotti is busy though, give him a call.) Is there even such a thing?

How will your new 4 octave singer take the fact you know nothing about harmony and will you delete his/her extra tracks too?

"I don't faqing think you will, busy fingers, I don't faqing think you will".

PS: BTW we were in the same room, you bumpkins.
Online collab my ass. Pack of elderberry fairies, you people are.

READ AND COMPREHEND, if you know how that is..if not go back to your regular programming. This dog and pony show is OVER !!!!!
