There was mention of Jealousy...

Last Night I had the privilege of playing at a party , thrown by an immensely wealthy cattle rancher in my area...

By immense, i mean you walk into this guy's home, and the hallway to the main room was the width of half a house, and the length of three houses. This hallway was adorned with an awesome collection of old Hollwood memorabilia of the old cowboys (including Tom Mix!) ... a variety of taxidermy and other neat artifacts. Continuing down the hallway, it opens up into a main room (his family rec room) .

OMG!! this was the man cave of all man caves..!. The room was lobby sized (as in a full saloon) Easily around 1500 sq ft. The entire bar was an export from an old Mississippi Show boat. (remember the wheel paddles?) . Every splinter of wood in that bar was authentic and the length of the actual bar counter spanned @70 feet. The bar top was copper sheet, with silver rivets.
He also designed the floor space in the room as a heater...He ran hot water pipes in a star configuration under the floor, and cover the floor with copper sheet strips across each arm of the star. The copper is a great conduit for heat and that room had folks sweating... (38 degrees outside)

If that werent enough, he had a massive sized fireplace in the room. The room was cordoned off in 5 sections. 1) The bar, 2) a jacuzzi pool (could fit 15 -20 people) 3) the Fire place with full sofa/chair ammenities, 4) a TV viewing Area with another set of sofa/chair ammenities. 5) Game: Shuffle Board, foos-ball and a pool table.

The place was HUGE!

The rancher who threw this party was gracious , welcomed all and fed the folks some awesome BB brisket!

He asked nothing from anyone except to have a great time and make themselves at home in his home... People were relaxed, no airs, nobody with hang ups, no scoffing or social clawing, all the guests were ...friends, circle of successful professionals, , young and old alike.

I could look at each one of them in the eye. So imagine me starting in and telling this Rancher that he owes me a break...cause he's got it to give... What a fkg insult to him that would be ...

But of course, its not what I would ever do...and because of that, I am welcomed, readily in those circles. I have made it clear to all my friends, including that rancher, that i dont want anything at all from him...Don't want his money, dont want his estate, his holdings or collections...don't want nothing... except ...maybe a beer from time to time....

He has given me the nod...

Mark, i was referring to an incident a few years back , when a gay org had visited the DL in Fld and a couple were caught in the bushes so to speak...It was said that they were visible to (and thus exposed) to kids in the area. However, despite protests and demands, which insisted that the org be banned from the park, Disneyland took no action.

On the heels of that...One of my freinds got banned from the park for lighting up a stogey in the park (prolly in a no smoke zone...which is all over the park)

I'm just saying that its a pathetic display of priorities, when and if folks argue moral perpritude issues.

I could imagine Freddie Mercury thinking of false morals. In his box. I don't hate Freddie, never did. How bad will things have to get before someone with morals isn't shouted down and told to leave because he is offensive and politically incorrect, (minority)? Why isn't everybody gay? Gay, or leave. Why have marriage at all? What upsets people about discussions with liberals that say gay is ok. That doesn't make it hate. Marriage is so diluted to less than a good hand of cards. Why DO people get married? Marriage is sanctified by God. Making same sex marriage legal is telling God He was wrong making man and woman. Crunch, You guys are missing the point. WHo 'really' gives a sh*t about the morals of gayness vs non-gayness. Nobody cares. What bothers folks is the idea that they have to pay taxes to support somebody elses idea of liberty.

-Why should I pay for abortions, if i don't believe in abortions?
