I play lead bass. I make no apolgoies. Guys who don't want that don't want me nor I them. Althoiugh we can still be friends. Some outfits want that - it's a lot of fun when it works. Certainly burns up the calories.

I actually found another ACDC tribute believe it or not. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Sometimes a pick is called for, but usually I try to play with my fingers. It feels more natural and I like the sound better. I'm having a lot more fun with bass than I have with any other instrument and i'm not going to stress about how I play it. I will learn new styles and techniques along the way.

I think that is really great man. You are doing all the things I can't.
We have one hell of a great bass player hanging out here. He plays a lot of blues, but he does the one thing a stupid guitar player (like me) can't do.

Good deal. I see the band that you originally tried for is still looking for bass and guitar - hard to believe there is enough call for 2 AC/DC tribute bands in the area!

They are both the result of a split, but members from the split went ahead with the plan to form an ACDC band, hence 2 tributes.
