Prevost before I got back with my old bandmates I had basically a rythym section, bass, drums and guitar and we auditioned a bunch of karaoke singers and we just had no luck. They just didnt fit in, a few of them I thought would be ringers, but take away the canned music and lyric monitor and they for the most part just got lost.
I didnt mean to slam ellis by saying my advice, actually when I started playing in junior high one of my biggest motivations was people telling me that I couldnt play worth a sh*t. And after hearing some stuff that recently got handed to me from 77-78 that some friends and I did, just based on that I would have to say I sucked.
The funny thing now is some of those same people are now loyal fans of our group, LOL
