Most of the quotes are just re-framed to make them appear worse than they are. Most "Presidents" have only a cursory knowledge of the inner workings of the White House, what is legally possible and what isn't. When she is suggesting something about the President's LEGAL COUNSEL, and it comes out... Department of Law.... Really? That's worth a firing squad? I think we all understand what she is saying, if we are honest, don't we? She knows that the President has a LEGAL COUNSEL, paid for by taxpayers, which give advice on what is legally tenable or not. And the President "IS" protected from many legal scenarios, "WHILE" in office. She is right about that.

Most of the ethics charges against her, were FRIVELOUS! How do you accomplish the people's work, when you are in court (and your staff too) or in meetings with State entities, being CONSTANTLY interviewed, to determine whether any of the charges have merit or not. She beat EVERY ETHICS CHARGE I believe, but one. And that one even, was minor, and no real sanction was imposed, I think, just some advice given... "In the future..."

Contrast that with someone from the higher intelligence liberal state that Barney Frank represents, who had a male lover, running a PROSTITUTION RING from the SENATOR'S OWN HOUSE, and was using OFFICIAL STATIONARY to accomplish other plots, and the Senator HIMSELF, had unethically used his position, to GET EMPLOYMENT for his lover, for STATE JOBS he was WOEFULLY UNQUALIFIED FOR!!!

Did he lose his position? The liberal dumbasses elected him AGAIN!

I do not call ignorance Treachery... but I call it out when I see it. GWB and Palin have said and done very IGNORANT things, and neither were EVER qualified in my opinion to be an elected official, but I hold "Public Servants" above the official standards and many fail to qualify.

I agree to some degree that Beck and Limbaugh have a right to free speech to a point. But past that point (which they have crossed many times) they are closer to shouting fire in a crowded theater than "freely speaking".

There should be some standard set to call out "misleading statements" that have been made publicly and have the people who made the statement either retract or defend the statement.

If this was the case more people would think about what they say before they say it... which used to be a golden rule. Apparently with that out the window "Conservative Talking heads" are free to talk about a Utopia that has never existed which has been destroyed by socialist democrats who should be hunted by Fox News constituents... led by Dick Cheney loaded for partridge.

hahaha wtf, so because the individual i want to spit on is a woman it automatically makes me sexist. sounds like a glenn beck tactic. i think if you watch the bewilderment on her face when she makes these statements you'll see that she's actually just talking out of her nice a**. i would venture to say that most vice presidential candidate at least know what their main function would be. o and if i ever spit on someone i'll try to film it and mail it to with a google image of my house so you can come find me. palin is woefully unqualified for her attempted state job. look at you pointing your finger, no one said we were of a higher intelligence, granted i feel we are less likely to back morons or religons. and so what if the guy loves man hole. but i will agree there should have been serious repurcussions for his deeds.

People, whether they like her or not, DO NOT LIKE QUITTERS. The perception among many Americans, both Democrat and REpublican, both conservative and liberal, is that SHE IS A QUITTER. I for one would not vote for her based on that one fact, regardless of her politics. It's an absolute shame that Newt Gingrich has a bunch of negative baggage. He's one of the smartest people anywhere and we need somebody with his brainpower in office. My father who is a staunch Democrat even concedes that Newt would make a good President based on his intelligence. I don't know who else out there on the Republican/conservative side would make a good candidate right now. I think Palin for PRes is a moot topic IMO...

It "IS" personal to me Phil.

I was a controlling asshole in my first marriage, well over 20 years ago now, and when it drove her away and ruined my marriage, I WOKE UP and took responsibility, and told myself... "I am NOT the good person I thought I was... but it doesn't mean that I cannot WORK from this day forward, to BECOME that person."

And every year, every month, every week, every DAY, since that time... I have done just that. Worked to redeem myself, and become a person of true value, who was decent and honest (about myself - I've always been an exceedingly honest person) and to be someone who unselfishly lived for others, more than myself.

While sadly, it served her no benefit, my first wife changed my life FOREVER.

She is still, and will remain, the biggest regret of my life.

People who know the kind of person I am now, always ask me: "Why don't you look her up and tell her how you feel about everything, and how you changed because of it?"

And the answer is...

Being TRULY REPENTFUL, means that "I ALONE" CARRY THIS BAGGAGE!"

She is remarried with beautiful kids and a wonderful family by now, and finding her just to communicate with her, is an act that serves MY NEEDS, for forgiveness, or closure, and really does VERY LITTLE GOOD for her, and potentially, just brings up heartache, she has long ago, gotten over already.

It was MY MISTAKE and "I" HAVE TO LIVE WITH MY OWN FAILURES!
