Photobucket has codes you can copy.

Choose just the URL code. The actual address where the pic is located. Paste that URL (ending with .jpp or .gif etc..) into your message body, and then highlight the URL with your mouse, so the whole URL and ONLY the URL is highlighted in blue. Then click the IMG button on top, and it will put the img code on both sides of your URL, a beginning tag and an ending tag, as Greenie showed you.

Then click "preview" and see if it is there. If the IMG tag is on the front and the ending of your URL it should be.

These tags are almost identical except the "closing tag" adds a "/" a slash. That slash tells the browser that it is the END. The tag is a command for the browser to do something, and whatever is between the opening and closing tag, the browser will apply that instruction to.

So, to make things BOLD for example...

There is this...

[ b ] ALL THIS TEXT IN BETWEEN WILL BE BOLD [ / b ]

The opening BOLD TAG, tells the browser to start making EVERYTHING after that tag, bold. The ending bold tag, with the slash, tells the browser to stop making things bold at that point. To "end" the tag, or command"

OK, if you look under each picture you'll see 4 text fields, one is an image link, marked IMG Code.

Copy everything inside that field and paste it into a post.

Like this

DON'T add an image code or click any buttons here, just copy the text inside that little white box on photobucket, it's ready to go. Then paste it into your post. Nothing to it, just copy and paste.

Philby: http://www.photobucket.com is the link, free image service where you can upload your pictures so people can either go to your photobucket album and look around or you can link to them in forums such as this and show just one picture.

Is that a Hagstrom I see in the collection, Pete?

Nice rack!

Thanks, I like it too. Had to get that one to cut down on stage space, 3 or 4 guitar stands were all I had and they too up lots of room. This one holds 7, I fill it at gigs. Standard tuning, open G, drop D, full step low, acoustic...

Nope, don't own one...although I've seen a few I wish I had bought...that's probably the Harmony you're looking at, 1966 Bobkat model, Silhouette according to some. Here's a link to my album with all the pics, and a few onstage shots with a couple of my silly hats. Also a couple of pics I used on another forum helping folks fix guitars.

http://s240.photobucket.com/albums/ff58/paleopete/

the Harmony is at bottom, picture named "Slide on a Harmony". I tune it to open G a lot and use it for slide, ditto for the lap steel, which one I use depends on the sound I want and whether I need it in the middle of a song wheere I'm already playing straight guitar. The lap steel sits on a keyboard stand so I can just drop the pick and grab a bottle in the middle of a song, then go back to guitar when the lead is over. Works great, and the mid 40's Electromuse sounds fantastic too. I plug it into the Normal channel of the Super Reverb and crank it to 10, only problem is it has no effects, but that doesn't cause any trouble, it still sounds great dry.

The Harmony is the one I used a few years ago for the Santana song "Black Magic Woman", it pegs that sound every time. It's all original except for the tuners, they were ok but a couple were really tight, so I replaced them but kept the originals. Oh, and the knobs are replacements, one was missing when it got it, $2 at a yard sale in Texas. Inside the pickguard is stamped April 1, 1966. That's the day it was assembled. Fat neck, DeArmond Humbucker, heavy gauge strings and it's a killer slide guitar...
