Great input from everyone! Bob, you make a great point about doing the songs that I am capable of doing ( and not wasting valuable practice time). I don't know how many times various musicians have told me that they know a song, only to spend most of our practice time TRYING to figure it out. Drives me nuts!

When you have to focus on playing bass, you put your singing on auto pilot and visa versa. Both the vocals and the bass need to be practiced until hardwired into your subconscious.
